Really Disappointing

We stayed at Albany's Desmond Hotel for one night in September, 2006, and everything was wrong. The room lacked Internet, and I had to fight with the front desk because they didn't believe me. Then they charged me $20 for an ethernet cable -- no other hotel does this. The fancy swimming pool was too cold to swim in. The room wasn't at all like the photos on their website (no fancy furniture). The restaurant was mediocre in both food and service. I really wish I had saved some money and stayed at the Wingate, right across the street.
