Pros: Easy to read, insightful, honest

It is easy to decry the lack of leadership in our country. From the White House to the pulpit, the lack of leadership is killing us.

It is easy to point our collective finger at those that are supposed to be leaders by virtue of their office....

Pros: Easy step-by-step development progression. Outstanding book for foundational development of new leaders.
Cons: It does have chapters dedicated to things like integrity that provide no great revelations.

The book's leadership development methodology and step-by-step progression is very good for developing new leaders in a step-by-step fashion. There aren't a lot of specific development tools in the book; however, I've found that leadership development tools become outdated quickly. I prefer conceptual books like this one.
