very comfortable but short life span by mtnsrus ,Jul 09 '09
Pros: - Very comfortable - very stable and easy to control - very powerful - strong paper clamps Cons: - short lifespan - pad slightly too large for 1/4 sheet
I used this sander to refinish kitchen cabinets. It is powerful and easily strips paint and varnish with 80-100 grit. I used 320 grit for the final machine sanding and it left very few marks. It is the most comfortable 1/4 sheet sander I have tried. After about 20 hours use, the circular portion of the platen (part 28 in the parts diagram) broke. I would buy this again if not for the short lifespan.
