I really like having the refills for my diaper genie. They are so easy to use. I had one with my son and have the genie 11 with my daughter. It really makes a difference in diaper disposal. You can't tell walking in her room that there is a diaper pail in there. The odor is really masked by the bags that protect the diapers. I have given this as a present to everyone I know who is or was having a baby. I would recommend this item to everyone that uses disposable diapers. The refills can be found everywhere I shop. There really is nothing that I don't like about the product. It really is easy to install and take out. The cutter inside allows the bag to be cut easily. The refill doesn't tear. That is what makes it a very desirable product.

I've always found that simpler is better, especially when handling something as toxic as my son's diaper. In this case the Diaper Genie mechanism seems a little exotic. My solution is to tie the waste into a plastic bag from the store, then take this bag to the garbage. Why make the whole process more difficult, why buy some extra do-dad to fill the nursery. Save the money you'd spend on Diaper Genie refills and put it into a college fund.

I love the Diaper Genie II and this refill is a must. The refill is easy to install and made from a plastic that blocks the diaper smells. The refill is easy to install and compact for easy storing. I tend to stock up so I have one when a refill is needed. Luckily the bags have a black mark alerting you that it is time for a change so you are always aware when you will need to have that replacement.
