DigMedia SM96 (96 MB) MP3 Player

Pros: Cheap
Cons: hard to connect to computer, lose memory quite easily, buttons wear out quickly

This was my first MP3 player. My husband bought it because it was inexpensive. You do get what you pay for here because this is a terrible product.
The connecting device plugged in to the USB port and then to connect to the MP3 player the player...

Pros: Inexpensive. Easy to use. Very slim. Lightweight. It has USB.It plays MP3 songs.
Cons: This may go through batteries so will others. Use rechargeable batteries you will be happy.

We have had the SoulMate 96 MP3 player for over two years. It is still working and we still use it. For the money my feeling is you cannot go wrong. Are there better players out there, yes ! The fact is there are always better players, but you must pay top dollar for that new technology. I am not willing to pay those high prices myself. I just wanted something to download music to and play it. This MP3 player does that.
