This is our favorite water park! by gracemom ,Dec 17 '04
Pros: Laid out well - Loads of Fun! Cons: The steps up to the high rides will take the wind out of you!
This water park is great! While most people were probably there for an extra $10 on their Disney Hopper pass, we paid the entire amount of about $30 each in June 2003. It was well worth it. Disney employees had told us to get their about a half hour early in case there was an early opening. The park opened about 20 minutes before the stated time.
Be sure to get chairs when you first get there. While you probably won't be sitting for any long period of time, you will want a place to put your bags.
Our favorite family ride was a big tube that swirled downhills for what seemed like several minutes. My husband tried the Avalanche, which he loved. You will need an entire day to experience all the rides. If you want to venture up the ski lift, do so early because the line gets long.
The park was very crowded when we went in June - we would like to go again in the spring or fall when the crowds aren't there.
