  • ~~ Dr. Feelgood is Too Good To Be True! ~~

    May 18 '05
Pros: Initial matte look, initially leaves skin soft and silky, holds oil slicks back a bit
Cons: Expensive, does not minimize pores, not long lasting

Summary: Another “Too-Good-To-Be-True” beauty product … The Product Benefit’s dr. feelgood is “a velvety complexion balm” that is packaged in a metal tin with a top that can be easily removed. A sponge applicator is included inside the tin and there ...

  • Dr. Hype is more like it

    Jun 09 '07
    Pros: none
Cons: it doesn't work and it is very expensive

Summary: I really wanted to like this product. I bought it online from the benefit site along with Benetint, which is my absolute favorite. After reading mixed reviews on Dr. Feelgood, i just thought that maybe the ones who didn't like the product was not just ...

  • Benefit Dr. Feelgood

    Mar 28 '07
Pros: minimizes the appearance of pores, nice matte flawless finish, controls oil under makeup
Cons: price, it may clog your pores (I did not have any problems so far)

Summary: I have a slightly oily T-zone, dry cheeks and a dry flaking chin. Foundation might get a little tricky for me and I cheat with products. Dr. Feelgood promises to give an ideal skin in the oily areas, minimize pores and smooth wrinkles. From my ...

  • Dr.Feelgood, not so sure . . .

    Mar 18 '07
Pros: Mattifier, smooth surface for liquid foundation
Cons: Does not live up to claims of minimizing the look of pores/fine wrinkles, expensive

Summary: When I was perusing the beauty section of a department store about 6 months ago, I stopped by the Benefit counter, I have never purchased anything from there before but I really liked their cute packaging. One of the ladies decided to give me an ...

  • Not sure if it's Dr. Feelgood or Dr. Useless

    Dec 18 '06
Pros: Matte, soaks up oil, longer lasting makeup
Cons: Cost, no minimization of lines and pores, bad name!

Summary: In my quest for the almighty makeup, I was driven to Benefit Cosmetics. I was looking for a foundation primer or something like that -- too keep my makeup from wearing off throughout the day, and to minimize my large pores and smooth out my skin. After ...

  • Dear Duckter Feelgood:

    Jul 30 '06
    Pros: dang, it's cute
Cons: no redeeming features for me

    Summary: Notice I called you Duckter? It's because you are a quack, quack, quack, quack. Sincerely, a "patient" who is out of patience * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Let me begin by saying that I am very skilled at cosmetic application, ...

  • Dr. Feelgood only lasts as long as the name

    Apr 23 '06
Pros: Over makeup the look is dewy and fresh. Under makeup looks ashy on darker skin
Cons: Expensive and not really useful on African American skin tones.

Summary: I was thrilled when my retro can of Dr. Feelgood arrived in the mail from Benefit Cosmetics. Dr Feelgood is "a velvety complexion balm" that comes in a 0.85 oz tin can in a very nice green and gold box. The balm is light yellow and comes with a sponge ...

  • Soft (and cute) as a baby's bum!

    Jan 19 '06
Pros: Velvety feel left on your skin
    Cons: Can be pricy

Summary: When it comes to make-up, I must have tried everything, I see it in a magazine and they say it works, I want it. I see it on the television, it looks good, and I want it. A few years ago, I was shopping in Selfridges with one of my close friends, she ...

  • Amazing Grace

    Jun 15 '05
Pros: Very effective at smoothing my skin and making it look young again!
    Cons: Expensive!

Summary: Last month I lost the plot entirely and arranged to do far too much in too short a time. On Friday night I started off with a lovely long red wine fuelled natter with a close girl mate - it ended at half past one in the morning with nearly three empty ...

  • Thank you Dr.Feelgood!

    Dec 04 '03
Pros: Makes foundation application much easier. Lasts a long time.
    Cons: Does not diminish shine.

Summary: Well, although Dr.Feelgood, I have to say, does not live up to the hype, I would not leave my house without it safley nestled in my bag. Packaging: Attractive, cute, retro! Dr.Feelgood comes in a handy little tin which remids me very much of boot ...

  • leaves my face as soft as a ...

    Sep 23 '02
Pros: makes my skin incredibly soft, nice smell
    Cons: a bit pricey

Summary: This product looks a little like vaseline but feels amazing on your face. It goes on very smooth with the included makeup sponge and leaves my face soft all day. It evens out my complexion and make my pores seem to disappear, but I haven't noticed that...

  • Silky Smooth Skin- You Bet!

    Jan 27 '02
Pros: makes your skin silky smooth
    Cons: none

Summary: Dr. Feelgood is a product by Benefit Cosmetics that I have been admiring for a long time. Every time I would go to Sephora I would play with it, try it out, and hen decide to hold off on purchasing it. Well, I could wait no longer and finally broke down....

  • Crows feet minimizer!

    Jan 20 '02
Pros: Great for fine lines around eyes!
Cons: Oily skinned ladies use sparingly

Summary: As with most high end beauty products with which I am unfamiliar, I bought Dr. Feelgood on ebay before paying full price at the dept. store. I must say I have a most unfortunate skin type. I'm 30 with oily, breakout prone skin, and am starting to...

  • This Is AMAZING!!!

    Nov 08 '01
    Pros: Absolutely Incredible!!!
    Cons: None

Summary: I sell BeneFit, so I am always interested in reviews about our products. I thought I'd share mine. While I know not everyone loves what I love, I thought I'd share my experiences with Dr. Feelgood. I absolutely love this product. It was one of the...

  • New invention: Now you can anoint yourself at home.

    Oct 12 '01
Pros: Absorb oil in seconds and give your skin a gloss for hours.
Cons: Feel like a film of grease

Summary: My skin is VERY oily. When I was told it can even your skin texture and absorb excess oil, I bought this magic potion immediately.

The next day, it worked as its promise. However, unlike other oil-control goods, it feels like ointment. After...
