This is an inspirational story about a boy named Moon Shadow. He came over to America from China to meet his father and make money in hopes to bring his mother over, too. His father is a kite maker and lives in a building with The Company, a company run by him and some friends. Many things happen to them and eventually, they make a flying machine with the help of the Wright brothers, who just flew a plane for about 17 minutes that year.
