We've now bought 3 vacuum cleaners in the last dozen years or so. The last one we bought was a Panasonic MC-4850, and it was good, for a $100 vacuum cleaner. My only real complaint about it was that any time we needed new bags, we had to call our local ...

Pros: Great power for a small cleaner. Easy to dump waste.
Cons: Poor wand design prone to breakage, terrible parts replacement service.

After about 18 months, the end of the wand snapped off, making the vacuum useless. Looking at the break, I can see that this is a big weakness in the design, and easy to break.

Now I have been waiting for over two months for a replacement! The violet color no longer exists, so they are going to send a yellow one, but there is no stock.

So despite the good performance of this compact vacuum, I would never buy a Dyson product again.

I don't usually do alot of vacuuming,but, sinse my mum bought this vacuum I've ALWAYS wanted to do it!
It's so so so simple to use and it's really powerful so all your dirt will be sucked away in no time!
Its wheels move around floors/carpets easily and it won't get stuck when going around a corner.
It's long, extendable "neck" makes it really easy to vacuum to stairs too as you can place it at the bottom and run up the stairs as it will stretch out for you! That way you don't have to carry it up or be worried about it falling down.
It may look like a small dirt-holding space, but the part that traps the dirt is actually rather large! I can vacuum all of my carpets in my home (about 6) and there's still room for a bit more dirt! So it really does store alot!
It does make some noise, but all vacuums do, but it's worth it when you see the results.
Overall, this is a great vacuum to buy if you have alot of stairs or hard to reach places...as the "neck" will really help you out!
