Pros: Ease of use, durable construction, Power that doesn't compare to anything Cons: Expensive, Sometimes awkward to maneuver (I didn't buy the Ball type)
I have two furry canines: Bouvier and Giant Schnauzer.... I bought the DC07 Animal in early 2003, because I could not find any other vacuum that was able to handle my pet hair issues. I previously owned a Kirby which was quite effective. However, I ...

Pros: Suction, suction, suction. No dusty exhaust air. My house smells clean! Cons: Awkward to use the attachments(suction shortens the hose and makes it difficult to extend it)
I bought this after a friend of mine demonstrated hers. She had just a bought a 2 year old house with "tired" builders carpet. When I walked into her place after she vacuumed with Dyson, I couldn't believe my eyes. The carpet looked brand spanking new ...

Pros: Was easy to use. Seemed to pick up dirt okay. Had a 5 year warranty. Cons: Left deep ugly grooves all over my carpet. Was expensive. I returned it.
When my old vacuum stopped working I was excited to try the Dyson. I couldn't wait to suck up huge amounts of dirt out of my carpets. I got it home and put it together. I found the instructions poor but it wasn't hard to figure out. I excitingly ...

Pros: Being able to warn people about it. Ease of emptying. Cons: Super-cheap materials, moronic design, outrageous cost.
...take your pick. I have had a lot of vacuum cleaners. This is easily the worst vacuum I've ever had. It also makes a strong case for the most poorly designed product on the market today. First, I hope you enjoy moving all your furniture every time ...

Pros: Great for cleaning carpets. No expensive bags to buy. Long cord and hose. Cons: Messy to clean out cannister. Cumbersome to carry up stairs.
I've had my Dyson Animal DC17 for 6 months, and have been very happy with it. At 60 years of age, I've had a few vacuums over the years. My old Electrolux machines were my favorites, an upright and a cannister, but they both needed replacement after 20 ...

Pros: The amount of dirt and fibers it removes with each cleaning. Love it. Cons: A bit awkward with the hose and attachments. I am unfamiliar yet.
Okay, I usually blow this kind of stuff off...but, I am thoroughly impressed with this vacuum! I have a sharp vacuum, that is considered to be a great vacuum from the vacuum stores, but the amount of dirt and carpet fibers that came off of my 2 year old ...

Pros: Excellent on picking up Dog Hair! No fail suction is great! Cons: On-board attachments fall off. Too short of a pole.
This is a simple case of Girl (with two dogs) meets Guy with two dogs & two kids with one dog each... Yes, that's SIX dogs in one house! & The DYSON DC-17 Animal is Victorious! A friend let me borrow their Dyson-14. I was embarrassed, after ...

Pros: Suction, tools, length of hose, easy to clean, Cons: Don't like how the tools attach. Directions not clear
I vacuumed my carpet with my old vacuum 3 times getting ready for Christmas. Husband bought me a Dyson Animal Vac and I vacuumed and was SHOCKED at what it pulled out of my carpet. It was like I never vacuumed at all. I would highly recommend this ...

Pros: Awesome suction, Even Siberian Husky fur cannot stop the suction on this beast. Cons: Price, but worth it.... Hose tends to retract with suction.
This is the vacuum to buy of you have a pet that sheds. I have a Siberian Husky and live in California, summer sucks with all of the hair. I had a Phantom vacuum that I bought because the Dyson looked a little cheap and it was a little expensive. BAD ...

Pros: Long hair (and lots of it!) is no match for this thing! Cons: Can't think of any!
I have a large dog (a rottweiler mix), and he sheds long, black hairs all over my beige carpets all year long. It has gotten so bad that we have black tumbleweeds that blow over the tile and berber after only a week of not vacuuming. I have burned ...

Pros: Works Suction Colors useful attachments 5 year warranty Cons: Price, thought it's worth it. Hard to get used to at first
I became sick and tired of buying an inexpensive vacuum cleaner every year. I was literally going through one sweeper each year, because of them breaking down. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a Dyson. I did my research. I talked to other people who ...

Pros: -No more vaccum bags -Eliminate alergies -helpful attatchments for hard to get areas Cons: -The vaccum is very expensive -The vacuum is somewhat heavy
My husband had been suffering from terrible allergies from our cats. We really didn't want to give the cats away. So I looked into many vaccums online for a while. Our friend had a DC17 animal bagless upright cyclonic vaccum. He said it worked awesome. ...

Pros: Great vacuum Cons: Pray you never need to have it repaired.
A great vacuum until it doesn't work. I live alone - vacuum every other week. Just within the 1 year warranty the vacuum began stalling out while in use. I called Dyson, was told it would be covered by warranty and referred to an authorized repair shop. ...
