Pros: strong suction, long cord, picks up dog hair Cons: not good for tight spots or under low furniture
A good friend of mine was moving to Germany about a year and a half ago and did not want to lug over more than she had to. So she gave me her Dyson DC25. She had only had it for a few months, but liked her Kirby better so that is what she was taking with ...
Pros: Every product should be as thoughtfully designed and engineered. Cons: Trivialities: cord should be longer, better reach under furniture.
I live in a ranch-style house with a few area rugs and only 2-3 fully carpeted rooms. I've had a few vacuums over the years, and they all did a decent job, nothing great, nothing awful. When the belt on my Eureka started to give me troubles ...
Pros: Well engineered, built, and packaged. Light. Consumer-friendly assembly required, easy instructions. Cleans magnificently! Cons: Hefty cost. Unfurling the wand attachment puzzles me anew each time I try.
I purchased the Dyson DC25 Ball about four months ago, in a bad but determined mood. My bad mood was due to the fact that my old (but hey, not that old!) upright had just committed hara kiri by gnawing off its own cord insulation ...
Pros: Even better cleaning power over my DC7, lighter weight and turns on a dime! Cons: Short power cord, small canister and can't use my mini-turbine head attachment.
I have a DC7 (Animal Model) and have been very pleased since purchasing it some three to four years ago. Recently I have been thinking about adding another Dyson to the house and purchased the DC25 Ball. I have been tired of lugging the DC7 up and down ...
Pros: Suction & cleaning power, turning radius. Cons: Could use a larger dust bin; Expensive
After some unexpected vacuum drama, I have truly fallen in love with my Dyson DC25. Initially, I had great qualms about forking over $500+ on a vacuum. It seemed ludicrous to spend that much money on a vacuum. I ended up getting a ...
Pros: Not heavy, cleans really well, easy to handle, not many parts and very well built. Cons: The wand hose is too short.
I used to sell vacuum cleaners. The $2500 kind of vacuum cleaner.I have a professional vacuum cleaner at home. It's sort of heavy and does not clean well enough for a home.We bought this one because it is small and somewhat light. I wanted to be ...
Pros: Fantastic performance, 5 yr warranty, LOVE the ball design. Cons: More expensive than the clones, but you get what you pay for!
We've wanted a Dyson for a long time but that initial investment kept holding us back, but we used a 20% off coupon from Bed Bath and Beyond as well, which is $100 cheaper than Amazon! Since I do the vacuuming, my wife had no objections to the ...
Pros: Long cord, long hose, easy to use/clean Cons: underneath furniture is harder to get
For years and years my family has been trying to cut corners by buying cheap vacuum that essentially end up reeking havoc in the home. Last Christmas we got this Dyson as a gift and it has proved to be the most invaluable present! Vacuuming is ...
Pros: just plain cool, gets up my dirt, tiny, gets in hard to reach spots Cons: expensive, short cord, small bin, akward handle.
Lets be honest, we all drool at the Dyson because of the status symbol. I am no different, I won't judge you. It looks cool, makes people think "wow she is serious about her dirt...and oh so trendy!" and golly gee it even cleans the floor! But is how ...
Pros: The vacuum is worth every penny that it cost. The entire package is great. Cons: The wand is great, I just wish that it were a little longer.
I had a Kirby with all the bells and whistles for about 8 years and it broke. The expense to fix it was more than I wanted to spend on a vacuum for repairs particularly after hearing and reading so many good things about the Dyson. Compared to the Kirby ...
This is a very good, but not great, vacuum cleaner. We have had it about 4 months. We paid $425 at BestBuy. They matched a sale price on Amazon.com. It has a high 'cool' factor (for a vacuum). I like the small size, ...
Pros: Quality of design, components and performance justify the price. Cons: The price can be scary, until you use it and see the difference.
Having gone through several other brands of moderately priced vacuums in the past 10 years, my wife and I decided to "bite the bullet" and plunk down a big chunk of change for the Dyson. Make no mistake about it, this vacuum isn't cheap, but we were able ...
Pros: Great marketing, the waste bin is easy to remove and empty, nice design. Cons: Lacking in quality. Not good for all floors as it claims.
After years or mediocre vacuum cleaners, I bought into all the hype and bought a Dyson. I did my homework because I have a bad back, allergies and it was important that it was allergy friendly and not too heavy to lift up and down my stairs. I ...
Pros: Powerful. Not too loud(my dogs did not bark at it). Easy to maneuver. Cons: Wish it comes with the low reach floor tool.
I just bought the Dyson DC25 All Floor vacuum today and used it right away. I am very impressed with this vacuum as I have heard so many good things about it. I have three hairy dogs and the vacuum picks up hair like I have never ...
Mr. Dyson longer cord please! by mrsfrobes ,Nov 20 '08
Pros: Great suction Love the turning action Intuitive design Easy to push/and/pull Cons: Cord too short!!! Not good for under low furniture Quick draw hose should be longer A bit heavy Pricey
I love my Dyson. I really do. But for me to give something five stars it has to be absolutely perfect. This is close but not quite. The short cord drove me nuts until my husband bought me a short extension cord to add. Now it can move around the entire floor without me unplugging it but awkard to wind it back up with the extra cord that's not supposed to be there anyway. I wish it could go under my bed and sofa. It can't. I would certainly buy another Dyson but not the big ball kind. I'd need something that can go low under furniture. And you'd think that this Dyson guy is such a supposed genius that he could invent a vaccuum with a retractible power cord and a smaller ball that would go under furniture!
I know it sounds like I am being negative. I'm not. It's a great vaccum if a bit pricey. I'd buy another one. Just a different model that could go under furniture which this doesn't.
