Best Dyson Yet
by cfd2231 ,Sep 28 '09
Pros: Great Suction Great Attachments 5 year Warranty Cons: Dyson's Customer Service Sucks
I bought the Dyson DC28 yesterday. I owned the older animal for about 7 years. I pulled it out of the box turned it on and the suction in this new model has to be almost double from what the old one was. The only bad thing about Dyson is there customer service sucks. I called before to get a repair on my old one and it took them almost 3 weeks to get me a box and prepaid label so I could send it to Dyson. That is the only way they will accept a warrenty repair. Costo.com has the Dyson DC28 for $599.99 but the plus to buying it there is you get 3 extra attachments with it that do not come with it if you bought it somewhere else. So you get 6 attachments.

SUPER EFFICIENT VACUUM
by imcrazycatlady ,Oct 24 '09
Pros: Efficient, long cord, two filters, no bags. Cons: The only con I can think of is that it's pricey but worth every penny.
My Kirby vacuum of 17 years quite one day so I set out to find the best vacuum for pet owners that I could. I decided on the Dyson DC 28. I have nothing but good things to say about this vacuum. It gets up cat and dog hair that my Kirby never could. I had always said that I would never have anything but a Kirby but that has changed now. I will only have Dyson's from now on. Just today I was cleaning one of the bedrooms where two cats reside. The persian rug was covered in hair. Previously I have used the Pledge pet hair sweeper to pickup the hair. Today I cleaned all I could with the shop vac and then used the Dyson. I had to go get my Husband to show him the rug. I had cleaned 1/2 of it and you could really tell the difference. Like night and day. You will not be disappointed in this vacuum. It's the best!
