Eclipse XA1000 Car Amp

Pros: Good power, small size, clean sound, top mount controls, clipping indicator
Cons: Fake carbon fiber is a little lame

I'm using this amp to power a single 12" Phoenix Gold RSD12D subwoofer. It hits hard and sounds very clean. Overall I would say that the amp puts out rated power. Not more, not less. I think that the top mounted controls and all the connections being on one side of the amp made it very easy and neat to install and tune. I also like the clipping indicator that helps you set the gains perfectly without any special equipment or a trained ear. Since installing the amp, I have not paid any attention to it which to me is a good thing. The carbon fiber panels on the front might be a little cheesey but some people I'm sure like it. I paid $200 shipped for the item new off of eBay.
