Pros: Very fast, ton of storage, a lot of plug in's Convenient help features Cons: Broken DVD-RW (after 3 months), No Microsoft Word, Customer Service number is long distance!
From the beginning this computer has been very easy to use. A little odd that you have to save all the files yourself for backups when you first turn it on instead of the CD's just being included but easy to do but atleast you get practice burning. The ...

Pros: 3.06 P4 Processor, 512RAM, DVD-RW, 160GB HD at $599 Cons: Nothing. But not made by a reliable company. Extended warranty is advised.
Well, around January of 2005 Mother took me to Best Buy to get a computer she promised me for Christmas. I went shopping around the rows of computer and knew that I wanted only two things. Performance and price! Well After looking for a good thirty ...

Pros: Good setup (except backup creation), very fast system, spacious hard drive, DVD-RW burner Cons: Quirky backup procedure, poor website, basic mouse
I had been looking for a new desktop to replace my again laptop computer. I had an IBM Thinkpad, which had faithfully served me for about 3 years. I never had a reason to take it away from the home, so I just wanted to get a desktop with a DVD burner. ...

After 14 Months..Still Decent
by hotrodrev ,Apr 01 '06
Pros: Dual Layer DVD Burner,3.06ghz P4,1/2 gig RAM,PCI Express,Price,SATA hard drive Cons: Crappy Mouse,Speakers,XP Home,NO MS-Office
My T5026 is still going strong...even after 14 months,which
for an eMachines proves they are starting to build superior
machines.Well,just maybe.
I needed a new PC for college,as my old AMD k6-2 white box
just didn't cut it anymore(128mb ram,24x10x40 CD Burner,
Win 98).I had been searching for a bargain and found it.Mind you, early T5026's weren't as good as mine,as they lacked the
PCI express slot.
Anyhow, beyond a few small XP Home bugs,no problems at all, unless you consider no form of MS Office, just Works
(which might be okay for many).
The 160 GB hard drive still isn't full(but is getting there)
but I plan on a few 300 gb Sata drives soon anyway.
I say if you can find one of these babys in good condition,
and you don't mind being a year or so behind, this is a helluva machine.
