Pros: Great Tasting and It WORKS Cons: Slightly Expensive
Betagen what is this? Well, that's what I was wondering before I decided to try this great product for lifting since I am avid weightlifter and basketball gym rat so I'm always active and considering if you lift weights frequently and ball, you will...
Pros: ~Tastes like Fruit Punch KoolAidŽ~ Cons: ~Creatine Monohydrate~
As a wrestler, rower, surfer, swim coach and daily swimmer, I've had my fair share of soreness. One thing I have found that is very helpful after my harder workouts is to guzzle water and BetaGen.
Pros: Helps increase lean mass and strength. Suppresses muscle protein breakdown. Enhances energetics and recuperation. Cons: may bulk you up from the creatine if you are not following your diet properly.
This is a great product from EAS.
I started taking Betagen about a year ago. I immediately noticed results. I had been working out like an animal but noticing that I couldn't get over that "peak" of my workouts.
Pros: good tasting, goes down easy, Cons: pricey, marginal results
After having used EAS Betagen for roughly a month, I am disappointed with the product/results. I experienced marginal increase in lean muscle tissue and strength. The so-called "enhanced muscle energetics and recuperation Betagen" was nothing more...
Pros: Tasty, real results! Cons: Expensive, results not noticeably greater than creatine alone.
During high school and the first years of college, I was involved in several sports along with weightlifting. I was a martial artist, wrestler, and runner, so I was constantly looking for something that would provide me with that extra edge. I was...

Pros: Tastes good Cons: Expensive to keep up
I've been using Betagen on and off for about 5 months. I don't think I'm using it consistently enough to see results, or may not be using it properly. It tastes really good when added to a protein or meal replacement shake.
Pros: tastes great, 90 servings per jug, easy to use, positive gains. Cons: if you can't spare $40 a month that would be a negative.
I got back into lifting after about 4 years of minimal exercise, and after about 5 months of minimal improvements I decided to try a supplement. I bought Betagen because at 53 dollars at the army exchange it was the most expensive supplement, and there was only one on the shelf, so i figured it most be good without reading a single review. Well after a month of use i've gained 9 pounds and i've seen signifigant improvements in every area of my fitness routine. Well now my first bottle is used up and the reason it was the last on the shelf is because they stopped stocking it. That's ok with me though, because I found it online for 37.95 and i have two jugs on the way. In conclusion, this stuff works good for me. Yeah something else may have built more mass faster, for me, I want strength gains and Betagen seems to be the ticket.
Pros: no soreness Cons: Expensive at GNC - best price I found was www.saveonsupplements.com - 35 I think.
I used Betagen on and off for about 3 years. I was talked into another product, Recovery by PRO-RX because it was cheaper and seemed to have the same ingredients. Well, its 10 times better. After one day, I didn't have any soreness and I slept better. A wonderful product - it won product of the year on bodybuilding.com.
