They really work and for the price are truly reliable. I have returned one within the warranty period and only had to pay for shipping there. They replaced it without any issue. We own a Fresh Air by Ecoquest for 4 Years now and we have had a Living Air unit for 14 years. They have been excellent products but we have learned that Ecoquest will void the warranty if their product is purchased online.
Ask the vendor for the serial number for the unit you are purchasing and call Ecoquest at 1 (800) 989-2299 and ask them.
My friend has been a representative for many years and he mentioned that some of the units featured here are outdated and overpriced.
If you want a good experience with these excellent products and good customer service check with EcoQuest to find a registered dealer in your area.

Bought this unit about a year ago. My wife wanted a dog, but I'm allergic. This thing helped so much, and made our house smell so fresh, without a masking odor like sprays do. The reason I bought this unit instead of the others is that it works for your whole house, unlike the Oreck or the Ionic Breeze. You have to have one of those for each room. ---- I got laid off from my job about 4 months ago. I decided that I could live without this unit so that I could use the money for bills and such. WHAT A MISTAKE!! I bought another unit on a 4 pay thing Ecoquest offers and now I can breath easy again. This silly little box of a machine did so much for me and my allergies and asthma that medicine couldn't do.
