    Cons: Nothing Else is Spectacular.

Summary: Imagine someone recommending a restaurant to you, where the service is bad and the waitresses are rude...well, that is the whole idea behind Ed DeBevic's. Ed DeBevic's is a Chicago Restaurant, with a campy 50's style atmosphere. The waitresses chomp on ... read more

Pros: There are some great actors and actresses! A good experience is always FUN!
Cons: A bad server could potentially be very mean and make children cry.

Summary: Don't get me wrong. I like Ed's. Well, except for today. The staff for the most part is hilarious. They will poke fun at you, hassle you and put on a show. This is usually all in good fun. I remember waitresses, squeezing into the booths with us to take ... read more

Pros: Fun. Great 50's-70's music. Usual soda fountain food presented in an unique, fun environment.
Cons: Busy. The unsuspecting tourist may not get it--at first.

Summary: Ed Debevic's was portrayed on t.v. in a documentary of interesting restaurants a few years back. I paid little attention, except to note that the wait staff is insulting and that it was in Chicago. On a recent trip to Chicago earlier this summer, on a ... read more
