Pros: Fun Gameplay, Unique Premise Cons: Iffy Controls, Unimpressive Graphics and Sound
Amongst the Nintendo Wii's launch (or near launch) games there wasn't a lot that interested me. In other words, there was Zelda, and that was about it. If it weren't for a little game from Konami called Elebits it might have been one of the worst ...
Pros: Fun, addicting, an all out great game. Cons: Some areas can get a little glitchy.
They’re like little dust balls, lice, or even mice (except they squeal like kittens) just running around loose all over the house, all over town- its anarchy. They’re actually called Elebits though. They are little creatures that generate electricity, ...
Pros: Unique, addictive gameplay; good use of the Wii controller Cons: Environments repeat too often, mediocre graphics and music, horrible voice acting
It's a funny thing about console launch titles. Most of the games that are released to coincide with the release of the console fall into one of several categories: The first-party system sellers, the blatant ports from other systems, and the uninspired ...
Pros: Addictive gameplay, great physics, breaking stuff. Cons: Lame story, some control issues.
As the title suggests, Elebits didn't fair too well in terms of sales, and this is my attempt to get the word out on this one, because if you miss out on this game, you're missing out on a lot of fun. I can certainly understand a certain amount of ...
Pros: controlls work nice, unique ideas Cons: gets repetive fast.
I rented Elebits a couple of days ago and I played through some of the game before I had to take it back, but enough to where I feel confident enough to review it. Elebits is basically a preschooler’s first person shooter. Story. In a world not ...
Pros: Interactive, engaging and unique gameplay. Shows full potential of the Wiimote and Nunchuck controller Cons: Poor packaging and "lame" story line make this one easy to overlook
If it weren't for stumbling on the IGN game of the year reviews which gave Elebits extremely high marks, including best use of the Wiimote and action game of the year, this game would have been passed by me without a glance. The packaging of this game ...
Pros: Innovative interactive non violent puzzle game Cons: Requires a Wii Nunchuk for single player mode
the household: 6 kids ranging 6 to 13. Also included are a mediocre gaming mom (me) and the ultimate gamer, the husband. the choice the holidays provided us a gift card to an electronics boutique. While the family was deciding on a game ...
Pros: Brilliant colors and fun creatures. Cons: It gets old really quick.
This game offers brilliant colors and cute little creatures hiding around random rooms/levels of the game. The more you find and fling the more things become unlocked. Fun at first, but it gets redundant. I played this game four times before selling it ...
Pros: Lots of colors, easy to play, changing levels, that become more challenging Cons: Sometimes can be hard to maneuver through rooms, opening doors and such.
Can't go wrong with Elebits. With a family of 3 boys, it's sometimes hard to find a game everyone enjoys, but this one does it. I (mom), generally do not play video games with the boys, it's more of Dads "thing", but this one has me addicted. The ...
Like hide and go seek? Like hide and get the electric creatures that help you stare at the TV and gain weight? If you answer yes to both of these questions than get Elebits! This game has a kind of stupid storyline but you can have fun all the way! If ...
Pros: Good concept, fun for a while Cons: Short, lacks replay value, very easy
In this unique Wii game, you play as a young boy named Kai. After a lightning storm knocks out the power, he must capture Elebits using a capture gun. Elebits are creatures that control electricity. The controls are simple enough: you use the remote ...
Pros: replayability, level editor, originality Cons: kiddy style graphics, but great for all ages
this game is simply amazing, i loved the physics and graphics engines used. the storyline is a little weird, it uses the wii remote very well. has plenty of levels, and if thats not enough it has a level editor as well, you can also send ingame photos and levels you have made to your friends via Connect24.
this game has a 2-4 Multiplayer mode where the first player controls the movement while everyone searches and zaps the elebits
It also has a good amount of unlockable bonuses too
A giant game of Hide and Seek! Addictive and Exciting! by lilredpitviper ,Mar 08 '07
Pros: Great for casual gamers, Unique, Addictive, Easy to learn! Cons: I haven't found any yet!
I bought this game because it looked simple enough for a casual gamer with bad coordination to play, but challenging and unique enough to keep my attention and and keep me wanting more.
I'm glad I purchased it! It's easy to pick up and play without much knowledge of gaming. Elebits is basically a giant game of hide and seek. You use your "capture gun" to find colorful little creatures that create electricity. The more you capture, the stronger your gun becomes, allowing you to pick up larger objects and find more Elebits.
Each level has a time limit, which keeps you on your toes and the levels exciting. My boyfriend is an avid gamer, and even he finds the game fun.
