Pros: Safe, durable, easy to use, easy to install, good value. Cons: Slight scratch risk when in the lowered position. Safety is dependent on proper installation.
My wife and I sleep with our baby girl, we have since she was born. This isn't appropriate for some parents, it was the right decision for us. We haven't had one night we didn't get a full nights sleep. Now we have a king bed, and the problem was how ...
Pros: Safe&sturdy Cons: sharp edge when folded down
I would highly recommend the Elmo bed rail. We bought it for my son a couple of years ago and it is still in excellent condition. The net is pulled very tightly and locks into place very securely. We do have another bed rail that has a softer net...
Pros: Keeps my son off the floor!!! Cons: Can scratch the child if the rail is lowered,an easy fix, keep the rail up.
I had to buy some kind of bed rail for my son cause he had a habit of falling out of bed during the wee hours of the night. He recently turned 3 years old & he still needs it....lol. Sometimes I just think he likes to sleep on the floor when I find ...
Pros: Extremely safe and adorable Cons: Should come in more cartoon characters.
I completely recommend this product, it is safe in every way. I love the appearance and for a toddler it is fun. The price is reasonable for a product that your child will love. It is great for all those moms who have a hard time getting there child...
Make sure it fits your bed! by commedia1 ,Feb 09 '04
Pros: Cute and kid friendly. Cons: Didn't work on the sleigh bed
We bought this bed rail 2 years ago for our son. It was cute and looked like it would work, but for the bed we had (sleigh bed twin) it did not line up with the bed rail and simply would not work. Since we opened and assembled it, the store would not take it back. We gave it to a friend a few months ago for them to try but they found their mattress was too thick. I would suggest that you be sure it will fit he bed you are using.
Pros: Good grippers; reasonably priced; elmo character; numbers and counting. Cons: Rough edge; not portable; a few minutes to assemble.
I bought this product when my 18 month daughter had to be moved from crib to bed. I liked this one above the others for the following reasons: she loves elmo; the numbers 1 to 10 are on the mesh corresponding to counting the sheep; it isn't quite see through which was great when i didn't want my daughter to know i was still in the room; the feet are quite large and they grab quite well. It took me a few minutes to put it together- it wasn't a one handed one second operation. It doesn't fold up for transport; rather, it stays assembled. The corners are a little sharp when the rail is lowered and a child could potentially get scratched if they climb right over the connector elbows. We only lower the rail in order to make the bed so she knows she can only enter either from the head or the foot of the bed.

Pros: Easy to use, priced well, very durable Cons: none
This was a very good purchase for us. we had a bedrail that we had to put together ourselves and it broke in half. this rail folds down so its out of the way when you aren't using it. easy to install. very durable we have had ours for 4 years now and its been used by 2 children.
