PUT A LITTLE PUNCH IN YOUR PIXELS

by superdave144 , Jan 07 '01
Pros: EXCELLENT GRAPHICS AND CONTROL MENUS
Cons: NONE
I upgraded from a voodoo 3 agp card. There were no problems with the voodoo card I thought it was just time to move on. I ran a bunch of benchmark tests on the voodoo card right before I installed the Gladiac. The installation went pretty smooth. I...

No Regrets!

by rhreynolds , Feb 09 '01
Pros: Stable, cool, and fast! On board T&L works. Toll-free support.
Cons: Elsa driver releases are slow.
The Gladiac is my second ELSA video card. The first was an Erazor X GeForce SDR. For the life of me I could not get this card to run on my Athlon 650MHz system with 256MB RAM. Of course, many of us may recall that the original geForce cards were simply...

Houston, we have lift-off (or is that a problem?)!

by solrosinberg , May 14 '01
Pros: Sizzling graphics performance and stunning realism.
Cons: Stability issues on SS7 mainboards.
After much waiting and putting it off, I decided to upgrade my video card from a Voodoo 3 3500 to the Elsa Gladiac with the Geforce 2 GTS chipset and 32 MB DDR RAM. I have been impressed by this card's performance, however it does take a little tweaking...

Awesome!!

by stevelarrison Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, May 26 '00
Pros: Fastest card available today. When ELSA releases the VIVO module, this will also be the most fully featured card available.
Cons: price
The hazards of early adoption. This review is being migrated from it's own, unclassified subject where it generated 14 hits since being written in the first week of May. For the 14 people who have seen it, I am adding some content based on more...

Superb quality and magnificent performance

by puter , Jun 25 '00
Pros: You get what you pay for (amazing performance)
Cons: You pay for what you get (a wee bit expensive)
Unfortunately, I do not actually own a Gladiac myself. However, I did have one for about a week when a friend of mine had me perform a major hardware upgrade on his system, and one word pretty much sums up my reaction to the performance of this card:...

Excellent card for everyone and now easy on the budget

by yusakugo Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Dec 31 '00
Pros: Low price ($160 as of Dec 2000), Fast card, ELSA 3D Revelator Glasses support, VIVO module available, excellent performance for the price, drivers constantly being updated
Cons: drivers constantly being updated (sometimes new drivers don't work with some software)
nVIDIA currently is the king of the hill in graphic processors although still somewhat threatened by companies like ATI. Just recently, 3dfx went bottom up and sold their some of their intellectual rights and ideas to nVIDIA before 3dfx closed up shop...

horrible support!

by daniel5034 , Sep 29 '00
Pros: Excellent performance, add-on TV-in card
Cons: NON-EXISTANT customer support, stability issues
I purchased the Elsa Gladiac GeForce2 32MB because I wanted to later buy the add-in tv card. However, I encountered problems with the video card and needed support from Elsa. To this day, I have not been able to talk to a tech person OR customer...

Great Performance....Just Hope You Don't Need Support!!
by robert5687 ,Dec 28 '03
Pros: Great performance
Cons: NO SUPPORT YOU ARE BASICALLY ABANDONED BY ELSA AFTER YOUR CHECK CLEARS!
I purchased the Elsa Gladiac GeForce2 32MB card about 3 years ago and still am amazed at its performance. I really don't have any need or desire to upgrade at this time. I am only a casual gamer so the Gladiac's performance exceeds my needs on every level. As far as support goes Elsa gets two thumbs down. I had issues with this card while under warranty and had a absolutely horrible experience dealing with Elsa. When I actually got through to a human being over the phone I was told there was basically one person at Elsa who handled warranty issues. No on else could or would help me. It was a big joke! I WOULD NOT recommend purchasing a Elsa product. My pc problems turned out not to be a video card problem but none the less when my Elsa card dies it will be thrown in the trash and I will go elsewhere where customer retention is important.
