Pros: Flashing lights, music, colors, instruments Cons: Might get boring fast for older children, expensive, no volume.
Our son has been fascinated with music ever since he was a baby. Where most kids scream if they can't watch cartoons, Zacky was that way toward CMT. He loved to watch the music videos. Any toys that played music, especially if it also had lights, was...

Mommy & Daddy's favorite toy!
by nycesq1 ,Mar 25 '04
Pros: Fun, interesting (experimenting with different combinations),the whole family can sing along, Cons: A little heavy, no in store demo, does not come with batteries
This is without a doubt mommy & daddy's favorite toy. My 9 month-old son has enjoyed this toy since he was four months old. The cube that I purchased is different from the one depicted in the posted picture. The cube we have is called the "Sing with me magic cube" I'm guessing its the newer model. The cube allows you to play anywhere from one to five different instruments at any given time. The instruments on our cube include the drums, guitar, tuba, flute and piano. You can also press the orchestra button to have all the instruments play at the same time. By pressing different combinations you can create different harmony's with the various instruments. The cube plays a number of classic children's songs including, Bingo, Old McDonald, This Old Man, Hokey Pokey and a few others. It comes with a small song book as well. This toy is a great deal of fun and there is nothing to compare with when you hear your baby making sounds to the music!
How much do we love this toy? My wife and I have purchased four cubes for friends of ours.

Great toy, stopped working after 2 weeks
by nynell ,Feb 12 '04
Pros: You really want to sing along! Cons: Stopped working real quick...
We loved this toy (already had the Mozart version, which lasted far longer). But after about two weeks, it started playing more than one song at the same time (kind of confusing for a toddler), and occasionally, it plays nothing but static while all the lights flash. How disappointing!
