    Apr 26, 2010 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Crystal clear water.  Filter media is not that expensive and last a good long while.
Cons: VERY unreliable.  It has a nasty habit of quitting.  This happens during water changes.

Pros: The best biological filtration available in a power filter
Cons: Cartridges are a little spendy.

Summary: I raise African Cichlids. Inherent in this task are two facts. You must maintain relatively high stocking levels in order to "keep the peace" and these fish love to dig. These two facts place a heavy demand on a filtration system. My advice is this: ... read more
