England remade: Funny, enjoyable and thought provoking

Pros: Excellent story, great characters
Cons: A little 'over-the-top' at times and the writing doesn't match the raw beauty of some of his earlier works
History of The World in 10.5 Chapters is definitely one of the greatest 20th century novels ever written, and since happening upon it by chance a few years ago, I've made it a point to read everything Julian Barnes has written. All of his work is good....
