I am an avid runner and was in desperate need of a new treadmill for winter. I did months of research and ended up with this treadmill. I have had it for four months now and think I made a wise investment choice ($998 at Sam's ...
Pros: Affordable treadmill, strong motor, decent motor warranty, TV and music too! Cons: Reliability, servicing, customer service, lower quality parts.
Recently we purchased the View 550 treadmill from Costco for $1000. This came after months of reading about different treadmills on the internet and balancing the purchase on the scale of economics. We are first time, virgin, treadmill owners so ...
Pros: TV Cons: Breaks quickly. Wireless Monitor not included. Poor warranty. Bad documentation. Minimum trip fee warranty repairs.
Beware that most of the treadmills in the market are made by companies that are part of ICON Health & Fitness, Inc. (ICON). The Epic View 550 sold by Epic, made by ProForm, and part of the Icon family. I recommend you buy one of the sister companies ...
Pros: Good price for the bells and whistles, great sound system. Cons: Very poor quality and the treadmill broke after only 20 minutes of use.
It was a beast to move. It weighed so much and took a lot of effort to get in the house. It was not hard to assemble, but it was tough to get the screws threaded and it took two people. That aside, I got it put together and I was excited. It looked great ...
Pros: Heavy-duty motor Digital TV Nice, cushioned tread Quiet Set-up instructions Responsive Cons: Phone support Cheesy remote Heart rate monitor Heavy
This thing is a beast. I thought someone was hyperbolizing when they said it weighs 400 pounds. That sounds about right now that we have had to rent a U-Haul truck to get it home from Sams Club, moved it inside and set it up. I hope I ...
Very good Treadmill , 350 pound weight limit , built in tv , Sweet!!!!
Cons: None , go buy one
It's hard for me to believe that someone would not like this treadmill and the warrant is great , like lifetime on the frame , 12yr motor and I think 1-2 yr's parts and labor also Consumer Reports rated this as one of the best folding treadmills and I agree it's a great treadmill .
Pros: Television, sound system, solid, reliable performance Cons: Heavy, hard to move.
I have had my epic view for over a year now. We purchased the unit at COSTCO for 799.00.
With over 800 miles on the treadmill, I have experienced only one problem. When I first got the treadmill, after about 10 miles, it developed a knocking in the rear roller. I called Epic and they were very helpful. They immediately sent me a new roller. I received it in two days. By the time I received the roller though, the sound had stopped. I have not heard the sound since. My Epic View has operated flawlessly. It is VERY solidly built and I expect it to give me many years of use. The 3.0 HP motor is smooth quiet and powerful. It will run up to 12 mph and 12% incline. More than most people will ever need.
My use includes a mixture of walking and running. From my experience, I would recommend the treadmill to anyone.
I have owned both a Proform and a Weslo treadmill in the past and had problems with both of them. To be fair though, they were both in the $400 range. I wore them both out in a couple of years.
This treadmill is poorly built and started squaking after only 2 months. I didn't even use it heavily. All of ICON Health & Fitness equipment is just junk. Treadmill is good for 7" LCD TV only and as a clothes rack. My advice is to avoid all ICON products and buy something decent from other brands.
