I bought this printer two weeks ago. It is my first Epson printer, and my last. It continually jams. It takes plain white paper fine, but if you want to print a photo or a card, you have to feed one sheet at a time, or it will jam.

Epson makes a good, inexpensive printer. If you only need a basic printer, this model will be perfect for you. It's easy to install and easy to use. Additionally, Epson has EXCELLENT customer service. When my previous Epson printer stopped working properly for no apparent reason, they sent me a new one free of charge - and with absolutely no hassle! This kind of service is almost unheard-of in this day and age.

Outstanding print quality, reasonably fast, handles lots of paper types.

Noisy as heck.

Shreds papers something awful. This printer after 4 months started destroying cheap copier paper like it's going out of style. However, photo printing and envelopes still work fine (go figure).

DO NOT USE GENERIC INK. The nozzles will clog and you will never be able to use the printer successfully again. I've thrown out 2 Epsons because of this.

Epson build quality still sucks, but what do you expect for $60, including $80 worth of ink. I can't use up ink faster than I use up printers.
