Pros: Ease of use, great quality scans, versatility.
Cons: Very slow compared to dedicated film scanners.

Pros: A bit pricey.
Cons: Needed to buy other software for documents.
Summary: A great scanner for photos and film. Feature rich. Out of the box weak on document scanning. Software is photo specific. However, I also bought a piece of software, "Scan to PDF", and this brings this scanner up to a first class photo and document
