Pros: A lot of features like fax, copier, memory card readers Cons: Very expensive ink cartridges and it uses a lot of ink!
IntroductionFor a long time, I had wanted to buy all-in-one printer that has a fax machine, printer and copier features, but the price was quite high. In May 2008, I decided to sell B&W Brothers laser printer and shop for another ...
Pros: Price, size, features. Cons: Slow to initialize, poor fax capacity, paper feed and ink cartridge replacement.
I've owned this printer since Sept 07 and the first one failed at 6 months. Getting a replacement went pretty easy but required a credit card for cross shipment which is the industry standard on just about anything. The print quality of this unit is ...
Pros: ease of use and costs. Easy to install only needs 1 black in cart. Cons: no storage diff type paper no 2 sided prints 4-5-08 main paper feeder
Just bought this printer 10-27 Staples. My Cannon mp780 died after 1-1/2 year use, it was fine till it died. Left holding the bag on ink. About 20 cartridges. Back to this one. Very easy to install, ink very easy to install, but will need a flashlight to ...
Pros: The copy & print quality is above average. Cons: The frequency of ink replacements
The document feeder
The overall cost to own
I have owned the Epson CX9400fax all-in-one for 3 months now and use it in a small business operation. At this point I have spent 3+ times the purchase price on ink replacement without any pictures printed only documents. It's no surprise to me that ...
Pros: Easy buttons, can read many cards and has a USB port right up front. Cons: Useless when you are out of ink. Won't scan or fax-out without ink!
I have had this printer/copier/fax machine for about 3 months...and have been able to use it for only a few weeks. When an original color ink cartridge ran out, I tried to replace it with another and the machine won't recognize it. I kept getting a ...
Pros: Quick and efficient, a trusty work horse. Easy to set up and use. Great features. Cons: Have to use heavier paper to prevent jamming.
I needed an inexpensive printer for my home office, and was fortunate to find this one on a local website listing for only $35.00. Whether I am printing in black or color I have been very pleased with the speed at which this unit operates. After ...
Pros: Cheap, scans nicely, handy card reader, looks nice. Cons: Expensive ink, misfeeds, won't give B/W prints if a colour is empty.
I purchased this and found that it just does not perform well at all as a printer. I wanted it for its networking capabilities. Despite having networking capabilities on the CD they don't work. As a business machine this was a dismal failure. It will not hold its value either. I paid $150 for it and finally managed to sell it on ebay for $25. The ink consumption will bankrupt you. It also has a nasty little trick of not printing in B/W or copying in B/W when any of the colour cartridges is empty - despite the fact the only colour you're using is BLACK. Oh and don't get me started on the feed problems. For the first 30 or so sheets it would jam if I put more than one sheet at a time into the paper carrier. After that it would print most of the time but would feed several at a time on occasion.
Worst printer I have ever owned by robcline ,Nov 29 '08
Pros: the only aspect of this that is good is the price Cons: I would not recommend this printer to anyone.
You can't feed thru the tray feeder as it always gets jammed, so the only way I fax with it is open the tray and put the document on the scanner. If you use the back to feed paper, it periodically just says there is no paper and feeds it straight thru. Then you reboot, and hope it clears the error message. Sometimes it feeds two sheets straight thru, then decides, yes, there is paper back there and starts printing.
do not buy this peice of junk by jeffers58 ,Jan 08 '09
Pros: can't think of any Cons: see above
"this product is such a scam. all ink cartridges have chips on them that tell the printer when they are "empty" and the printer will not printer anything if one cartridge is "empty" regardless of color. and you cannot refill them your self thanks to these chips forcing customers to buy unnecessarily expensive ink cartridges more often than necessary. furthermore, the printing is low quality and the machine is shoddy. you can tell when you first see it work. it is real jerky and loud like some piece of technology from the 1980's. PHUCK YOU Epson I hope your policy makers rot in helll."
