Pros: Excellent color rendition. Super easy to use. No crap-ware in the installation software package.
Cons: No place to store the CD insert tray. Large footprint on the desk.

Pros: Fantastic looking large prints!
Cons: Paper and ink are expensive! No one said photography was an inexpensive hobby.

Cons: none really, except ink cartridges a bit expensive

Pros: Works great as a flower pot.
Cons: Doesn't work with anything but plain paper.
Summary: When I first got this printer, it made lines on my cards. I changed the inks and cleaned the cartridge. Now the piece of crap won't even pull the card paper through. Don't buy this hunk of junk or you'll regret

Pros: Epson shipped a new unit.
Cons: Epson support personnel were rude. The replacement unit did not work.

Pros: Nice color, good interface, good when it worked, but there were always problems
Cons: Unreliable, clogs, sucksup ink, Terrible black&white quality-neutrals swing green/purple Ink is outrageously expensive.
Summary: I would not recommend this especially if you have deadlines. I am a textile designer and need good color and detail. I always relied on my Epson 1280 to give me this. Lots of stress and problems trying to constantly fix problems with this 1400.
