Equator EZ 3720 CEE Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer

Cons: Design problems with product make reliability an issue.

First day the belt came off, warranty company could not find a repair guy that would not take cash in advance. So I paid $97.50 for repair. So far no check from the maker! Now a week later the belt fell off again. Serious design flaws with Equator washers.

Pros: Very little space required; washes and dries without moving from washer to dryer
Cons: Slow to dry

SO far it appears to be working fine; however, during the wash cycle I don't see a pool of water. The clothes are obviously wet, but there is not a visible pool of water. Is this normal?

Pros: Energy, water and space efficient
Cons: THE worst company I've ever had to deal with

I just want to tell people out there considering the purchase of one of these machines how terrible this Equator company is to deal with. They have lied to me repeatedly about items that were to have been shipped to me. The latest is the replacement for the broken handle on my 3612 machine. They charged my credit card for it almost two months ago. And exactly three weeks ago, after several calls to them, they promised that the handle had been shipped to me.

If you want an all-in-one washer/dryer, other companies make them besides this one. Don't make the mistake I did by buying an Equator.

I have been using the EZ 3720 CEE combo washer dryer manufactured by Equator Appliances for 2 years. It is easy to use, and the time and energy it saves is priceless. It comes with a limited 5 year warranty, and on the one occasion that it broke down, I received great customer service. I had the opportunity to speak to Atul Vir, the CEO of Equator Appliances. He stressed the importance of his customers to his company and told me to contact him if I ever had any questions or concerns.  He patiently spent time hearing me out, rather than merely sending them to the Customer Service Department. Equator Appliances not only produces great machines, but they really value their customers. I look forward to buying from Equator Appliances in the future!
