both the idealist micro-d and refinisher do a wonderful job at minimizing pores, making my skin silky and evening out skin tone. I LOVE it for that--you truly can see an immediate difference the first time you use the product. My beef is that it doesn't seem to matter how much I rinse after using the micro-d, my eyes STING afterwards. The refinisher does the same thing to my eyes so I keep it at least 1.5 inches away (idealist has a new eye serum out now and it doesn't leave my eyes feeling sensitive which is nice).

Would I reccomend it? Absolutely but keep some Visine at hand. It's kind of like your sexiest high heals, beauty can hurt but I'm still wearing them.

I used this and was amazed at how it made my skin soft. The granules aren't rough and a little pressure from scrubbing is needed. It helped to lessen the appearance of acne scars on my face. When applying Idealist Micro-D, I experienced a warm sensation. I am not sure how Estee Lauder made it possible, but it helps in opening up my pores. I did experience a burning sensation afterwards which concerned me. I have since stopped using the product because of that reason. Other than that, it produced great results.

Pros: Does the job
Cons: Really expensive

I agree that this product is amazing... but I found an alternative. L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Transformance Skin Perfecting Solution is a very similar product, and it works just as well. It runs around $12 an ounce. Give it a try!
