Pros: floral Cons: old fashioned and out of date. too sweet.
In the land of yesteryear, I'm told, women didn't buy perfume for themselves. Instead, men would buy fragrances for the women in their lives as a special gift. Indeed, watching old Hollywood movies, we can see this is true. For example, in the movie...
Pros: It smells nice on my grandmother. Cons: Overpowering rose smell. Cheap and cheesy packaging.
I have a bottle of Estee Lauder Youth Dew. Occasionally I bring it out to sniff and then I put it back in its box and hide it in the back of my medicine cabinet again. How did I come to own this perfume I do not wear? Well, I complimented my grandmother ...
Pros: Always a no fail winner. Cons: Sometimes hard to find, especially lotions and creams, so buy them when you see them.
As a man, I write these opinions from my own perspective, taken from my own personal point of view and experiences without an agenda. I discovered Youth Dew about 15 years ago and have never forgotten it. I have given it as presents to many ...
Pros: A very pretty, but strong scent. Not one for the younger generation. Cons: Nice price, but so recognisable as an oldies preference.
Well here goes with my first review. Before I start my twaddle, I will warn you, I am not in for all that size, price, ect. Sorry, but I believe in the facts of the products worthyness as a product. I will tell you that you can buy it in three ...
Pros: Will cover any odor Cons: Too Strong, repels men, women, children and animals. Its deadly long lasting.
I have to say this is one of the most disgusting fragrances I have tried. Actually it was purchased for me by a former employer as a birthday gift I am sure he meant well. Its just so overpowering you can't not over-do-it, one spray is too much. I ...
Pros: Wonderful smell, lasts on your skin, a little goes a long way. Cons: none that I have ever found.
I have been using Estee Lauder Youth Dew since I was in high school, more than 35 years ago. I was first introduced to youth dew by a friend of mine in school, she did not like it so she gave it to me, at first it made me break out on my neck, like a rash, but I loved it so I continued to use it. Needless to say I got over whatever it was that made me break out, and have been using this spray ever since. I have had countless people ask me what perfume I am wearing, and I am very glad to tell them what it is.
Wanna Smell like Grandma? Here's the Product! by esmekat ,Dec 25 '04
Pros: NONE (sort of pretty bottle?) Cons: - too strong and musky
- smells just like your grandmother
- RANK
I am 19 years old and today received a bottle of "Youth Dew" by Estee Lauder from my neighbour as a Christmas present. I have to say that it is the most pungent, foul smelling "perfume" I have ever encountered. There is absolutely nothing girly or fresh about it. It stinks, it reaks, it is horrible. I cannot even stand to put my nose up to the bottle, let alone wear it! I read up on its history and it didn't surprise me to find out that it was created in 1953. I don't recommend it to anyone under the age of 70. It totally reminds me of my grandmother, and she isn't even around anymore - neither should this perfume be.
