Eureka Sanitaire SC679 Bagged Upright Vacuum

Pros: It's lightweight and really sucks up the dirt from all my carpets and hardwood floors.

I've been buying vacuum cleaners for 45 years. After some research I decided to take a chance on the (Eureka) Sanitaire-SC679 light-weight bagged upright. I figured if it's used by the housekeeping staff at motels, it may be good enough for my use. I've had the unit for 4 months. It's not only lightweight...it absolutely sucks the dirt out of my carpets and floors. My 2 long-haired dogs drag in all kinds of dirt, twigs, garden mulch, etc. on their coats. This vacuum cleaner sucks up every bit of it. This vacuum cleaner is the best I've ever owned, and I would buy another.
