Pros: Light, powerful, good tools Cons: No power head, cord could be longer
I bought this vacuum to use in a commercial store that has floor tile and no carpeting, but it would make a great second vac in a home to compliment a traditional upright. So many people love their uprights for quick floor cleaning, but their upright ...

Pros: Inexpensive, lightweight, easily carried with backstrap, compatible with my Kirby, excels on bare floors Cons: Wand and floor tool clunky/heavy, loud
Bought this on-line for $100 after my local vac store recommended this model as a back-up cheap vac (they were selling it for $149). I have mostly maple and white tile floors in a house on a red dirt road, several hairy dogs, sheep, poultry, garden - ...

Pros: good suction, light weight Cons: wheels plastic broke quickly, not able to locate replacement parts
I got this vacuum cleaner to use for cleaning the tile floor for in a car dealership. It is used five days a week all year. It was advertised as commercial vacuum that is why I purchased it but it is not holding up to what I ...

Could be better
by tcgguy ,Aug 26 '07
Pros: Compact size, light, good suction power. Cons: Power Paw attachment broke after 2nd use. Loud. Attachments slip off too easily.
My vacuum came with a Power Paw, it has a turbo like device that's driven by the wind being sucked in. Well, it broke after the 2nd day of use. The service center I took it to called Eureka who told him that a replacement is not available. Meanwhile, they're still selling them in retail stores. Another thing I dislike about the vacuum is that the attachments don't have a locking feature, sorta like those buttons that pop up into the holes to keep the attachment from slipping off. The floor attachment and the peice in between the attachment and the vacuum hose have slipped off during use. Annoying. The hose bends on itself easily and cuts off air flow, imo the hose is not rigid enough.
Things I do like. The unit is small and easily stows away in storage. It's very light. Suction power is very good.
All in all, I would not recommend this vacuum. Iwill also not look at Eureka for my next vacuum.

Love it!

Pros: Lightweight, easily maneuverable, great suction power, bag change is simple. Cons: Could use a longer cord.
I have a small cleaning business and this vac has made my life much easier. It works great on bare floors and also on stairs. I struggle for a long time trying to find a vac that worked well on stairs and this one is it. It has great suction power and is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. The telescopic wand extends out and can turn flat to go under things easily. I not only use this vac for work, I also use it about every day at home. I have four children, a dog and a cat. And a lot of bare floors to cover. It is the best vac for the job. I highly recommend this vac for any home, especially one with kids and/or animals. It is not made for carpet, except for the attachment to do stairs. The canister is light enough to carry with the shoulder strap or just pull behind you. It's easy to change the bags.
