by mattbeme , Feb 11 '06
Pros: Powerful. Picks up animal hair. Motorized Head actually works!! Well made for the price!!
Cons: Instructions on Battery charging are wrong!! You will destroy batteries if charged more than 9hrs
The Batteries WILL LAST if you follow my instructions. The charger is too powerful and this kills the batteries. This is why everyone has Bad Reviews for Shark cordless vacs. You MUST NOT leave it in charger too long. You will love this vac if you ...

More suction than many corded vacuums!

by gavincurtis , Jun 14 '09
Pros: POWERFUL SUCTION AND AIR VOLUME!!
Inexpensive replacement battery packs at $15-20 each
Cogged belt driven brush roller.
Cons: Awkward charging base.
Unregulated charging system may shorten lifespan of batteries.
Two cats and one dog means frustration when constantly drag ging out the plug in canister vac.  So we bought this Shark cordless model not expecting much other than a temporary feel-good feeling of hope as the vac and its ...

Shark Europro - JUST like the fish it eats EVERYTHING

by Sapphire13 , Apr 14 '06
Pros: Eats EVERYTHING! Easy to handle even for someone with arthritis.
Cons: Charging base sucks. Plastic and hard to get vac on and off.
UPDATE: AFTER TWO YEARS OF INCREDIBLE WORK, MY SHARK JUST WENT BELLY UP! I AM GOING TO GET ANOTHER ONE IF I CAN FIND IT. I am wheelchair bound. I got the Europro to pick up the cat litter from the floor of my bathroom and to get the hair from the one ...

DustBuster on steroids!

by brianstone , Jun 16 '07
Pros: Suction power (of the Gods); Rotary brush attachment (of the Gods)
Cons: Cumbersome charger. Contents aren't securely held in storage unless you keep the tip up.
The Shark SV736 by Euro-Pro --------------------------- Cleaning up after two cats in an apartment can be a challenge. They drag litter around the carpet and leave a fine layer of fur on everything they touch. I've been using my upright vac to ...

Battery not lasting very long
by scrabblemom ,Mar 08 '07
Pros: Easy to use, very powerful
Cons: Charge only lasted 10 minutes
I purchased the Euro-Pro about 1 month ago and did as the directions stated. I left it on the charger base for 20 hours then used it. I've drained it of battery at least 5 times and my charge lasts for only 10 minutes before it starts losing power. I just read a review stating that the directions are wrong and you are not to leave it on the charger base for that long, and it will actually drain and render the battery useless very quickly! AAAAAAGGGHHH!! I just drained battery (after 10 minutes) and I will charge it for no more than 9 hours then take it off the base. Hopefully this will resolve the problem and I will get a much longer charge. Everything else about the vac is excellent. Its picks up everything, including pet hair, and is not heavy or cumbersome. Other than the battery problem, I love it!

shark cordless Vac
by nigelquimby ,Mar 05 '09
Pros: light , powerful, easy to clean, & take apart, & assemble, beater bars
Cons: akward angle to hold, too long for recharge, memory batteries  bad idea, longer crevace tool
pros>   very powerful, light weight, very easy to clean, easy to disassemble, beater-bars are great in this regard it beats B&D

Cons: Very difficult angle to hold for getting proper contact with floor, esp. if disabled as I. big CON are the "memory" type batteries that require FULL discharge and the need 24hr to recharge - this unlike the B&D makes it unavalable for a ful day. B&D is always ready to go.  I like this mainly for the light weith and power and easy to clean.

The best for pet hair!
by jillybeens ,Aug 25 '08
Pros: Great for pet hair. Awesome value.
Cons: Battery life could be longer. The dirt storage area could be bigger.
With two cats, I've become very annoyed at the pet hair which eventually covers all the furniture in our home. I've been using sticky lint rollers in the past, which don't do a very good job and create a lot of waste.
This little vacuum does an awesome job picking up every last bit of pet hair thanks to it's rotating bristle.

It also works great to clean the few carpeted areas in our home.
