Pros: Cleans well. Floors immediately dry. No chemicals. Cons: None.
Bought my better half a Shark Steam Mop. She had been asking for a steam mop for some time. We have several smaller areas covered by linoleum. She wanted to see if these steam mops would clean as well as when we cleaned the floors ...

Pros: Lightweight. Cleans floors that aren't very dirty. The steam dries quickly. Cons: Doesn't clean dirty floors well. Hard to push. Expensive.
I bought the Shark S3101 Purple Steam Mop at a local store after seeing the infomercial on TV. It helps if you have a sense of humor when regarding ANY infomercial and the S3101 is no exception. Yes, it does generate steam and does clean ...

Pros: The unit is very easy to use and works like a charm. Cons: I haven't found any yet.
I purchased this mop with just a small amount of apprehension after reading mixed reviews, but really wanted to try it, especially for the sanitation feature it would provide since we have a new puppy.I used this unit the first time in my ...

Pros: No chemicals, a nice shine is left behind, pads are washable rather than disposable Cons: You can't start with a filthy floor...this is more a between heavy cleanings tool.
I can't seem to find this model of Shark Steam Mop I bought on this site; the one reviewed and listed is one that retails for about $20 less than this. What prompted me to look into a steam mop of any brand was that commercial you see all the time for ...

Pros: shorter cleaning time, steam picks up embedded dirt Cons: difficult to push; handle broke in half; pad doesn't pick up all dirt
I originally got the Shark steam mop because I have two kids, a dog, and a husband who works in dirt. It seems like my floors were always dirty, especially in the winter from snow. I was looking for something to spot clean in-between weekly floor ...

Pros: Gets floors cleaner than anything else out there. Trust me, I have a white floor! Cons: Feels a little flimsy, but I haven't had any problems.
One of the biggest mistakes I've ever made was getting a white laminate floor at my business. Everything shows on a white floor; a small spec of dirt, a single hair, a tiny scuff mark, etc.... I have tried everything on this floor; a conventional ...

Pros: Really works fast, really fast, a pleasure to use. Cons: Handle assembly is very flimsy!
First let me say, I am not from "cleaner type of people". I bought this mop for 4 reasons:1) I want to use less chemicals, save money and my enviornment.2) I want something that reduces my time cleaning3) I want to save ...

Pros: It worked pretty well, and the battery life was good. Cons: The pad could have been better.
Ok, first off, the shark steam mop was great, and yes it was lightweight. But, what I was having problems with, was the pad! I would clean a small part of the room, then move on to the rest. But the pad would just move the dirt around ,and create a ...

Pros: Heats quickly, lightweight, easy to put together and the steam is not too heavy. Cons: Pads aren't secure enough, mop doesn't glide easily and Price
I bought this cleaner to use on my hard wood floors and bathroom floors. After much research this was actually my second choice but I could not find my first choice anywhere so I went with the Shark. My thoughts on this product are mixed. What I ...

Pros: inexpensive, produces steam quickly, light Cons: cheaply made, difficult to push, requires frequent refills, requires custom mop pad replacements
I (like the other reviewers here) really wanted this product to work. I love having a clean floor and I spend a small fortune on buying pledge wood floor cleaner for my laminate flooring. The idea of using steam to clean your home without chemicals is ...

Pros: No streaks, showroom shine, easy to use, lightweight, performed as advertised Cons: Flimsy construction, short cord, price kind of high
I read all the reviews for the Shark, pro and con, and had pretty much decided against it...then picked up one yesterday at Target on impulse. Hosanna! I have acres of brand-new expresso colored (black/brown) hardwood floors and it's a ...

Pros: Simple to use, gets floors really cleaned/sanitized, no more mess, cleans floors fast Cons: Handle is a little flimsy, pads get dirty pretty fast, a little pricey
I purchased the Shark Steam Mop yesterday at Bed Bath & Beyond. I was so sick and tired of mopping the old fashioned way with the mop and bucket (water spilling everywhere, changing dirty water, soapy floors, long drying time etc...) that I ...

Pros: Quick and easy. Lightweight. I love that it sterilizes. Reasonable price. Cons: Should come with more cleaning pads. Could be made a little sturdier.
I read with interest the other ratings. I bought this without the benefit of seeing the infomercial so perhaps I did not have preconceived notions. Some of the other comments are true; the unit is built somewhat cheaply. It works ...

Pros: The pads are washable/reusable Cons: Doesn't do what the commercial claims that it will.
Bought the Shark Steam Mop at Target for $80. Wanted it to clean my tile and Pergo floors. It did OK on the tile; however, do not expect it to steam clean dirty grout--you'll have to call in a professional like Blackmon-Mooring Steamatic for something ...

Pros: The Shark Steam Mop cleaned floors really well;cord is nice and long. Cons: Tank is too small. After three months the entire unit just stopped working.
I bought the Shark Steam Mop because I wanted something that would not just slosh dirty water around but would really, really clean my floors. I have three dogs and 5 cats, so I didn't want to use chemicals on my floors since they are closest to the ...
