Pros: The squeegee works well on windows Cons: Expensive, tilts, see review
I had a great steam cleaner the Eureka Enviro Steamer and gave it away with a parrot and cage over a year ago. I didnt think at the time that I would need it as I used it mainly for the birdcages. A year or so later and I purchased another African ...
Pros: Gets steamy fast, strips wax, steams clothes, cleans everything Cons: short handle hose, not sturdy enough to handle steam pressure, heavy when full
I bought this Shark steamer because I was looking for the biggest water tank I could find thinking that if the water it holds is larger, the steam would last longer before having to refill. The first time I used it, the tank burst and hot water poured ...
Pros: Easy to use, cleans most things well, 40 ounce reservoir. Nice long break on refill. Cons: 30 minutes downtime when refilling. Included accessories should include the brass detail brushes and towels.
I just bought one of these the day after Christmas. So far, I have not had any problems with it, but then, I've not even had it a week yet. Perhaps, they've changed the design and documentation recently. Bought at local Sears store for $45 on ...
Pros: Good job in hard to reach areas, not bad for dressing up car engine Cons: Poor quality, ABYSMAL customer service
I'd say a steamer's best attribute is the ability to blow high-pressure steam & water to remove dirt from impossible to reach places. WHAT IT WON'T DO: Don't expect magic! It wouldn't clean your oven in a million years. Bathroom - mildew in grout ...
Pros: Powerful steam blast. Does nice job on toilet seats and bathroom fixtures. Cons: Leaves wet trail. Awkward. Poor quality unit & attachments. Outrageously poor customer service. Dangerous?
Ordered one of these after viewing the impressive infomercial. The one I received was not the one that I ordered, but it came with a letter that said the model I ordered was on back order and this model was superior to the one I ordered. Although ...
Pros: None. This is a total piece of garbage. Cons: Doesn't get hot enough to clean or sanitize, fragile
I got this steamer on sale for $80 from Sears - it was $80 too much. I used it exactly two times before sticking it away in the closet and eventually tossing it. Normally I would freecycle something like this, but the performance was so bad that I ...
Pros: Inexpensive, small, good steam output, works pretty well Cons: Not designed for industrial durability, shoots out a bit of water also.
I bought one of these because my hardwood floor was getting dirty and needed some cleaning. I was at Macy's and ready to buy for $99.99, as the price on the wall said - when I got to the register, it rang up at half off. And I had a coupon for another ...
Pros: HEATS QUICKLY, DOES GOOD JOB ON LARGE WINDOWS Cons: TRIGGERS STICKS, MINIMAL CLEANING POWER, SHORT HOSE, TIPS OVER
HAVE HAD TWO AND BOTH TRIGGERS HAVE LOCKED UP LETTING STEAM OUT WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO SHUT OFF. VERY DANGEROUS!! NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. THE ONLY WAY TO STOP IT IS TO UNPLUG IT AND PUT IT OUT OF HARMS WAY. TRIED LOOKING IT UP ON THE WEB SITE. SAYS NOT SUCH A MODEL! WILL TRY TO GET RELIEF FROM SEARS ALTHOUGH I HAVE ONLY USED IT 3 TIMES SINCE GETTING THE SECOND ONE IN DECEMBER 2003 AS A GIFT. ALSO DOES NOT CLEAN WELL LIKE ON ALL THE COMMERCIALS THAT I SAW ON TV.
This unit should be recalled because of the trigger sticking. by mitzidav ,Sep 13 '05
Pros: I liked the way it cleaned countertops, sinks, baseboards and windows. Cons: Did not do a good job on soapscum in bathtub or cleaning the oven.
I used the steamer for 3 days with pretty good results. The next time I used it the trigger stuck and had to unplug the unit to get the steam to stop. Very dangerous. Should be recalled. I phoned the 1-800 number and was assured that this is not something that happens with these units. Wish I had read the reviews before calling in because this unit is a hazard and the trigger has stuck "ON" for other consumers. A replacement unit is being sent to me but I fear the same results. Plastic hoses and handles are not the material that should be used with steam!
Pros: Cleans well, gets in the tight spots Cons: Tips easy, hard to handle, short cord, DANGEROUS Explosion
This product is good when it does not explode after use, this thing should be recalled, I was using it and stopped for a minute set the machine on the floor and it exploded, smelled of burning rubber/electrical
Mine broke after 4 uses (internal leak spewing steam & hot water all over)...now all the water leaks out before it's hot enough to steam. Website says they don't make this model. To get repair under warranty, I need to mail at my expense & pay them $14.95 to get back a repaired VERY DANGEROUS PRODUCT. No, thanks. I'll see if Sears will refund my $90...otherwise, I've learned a valuable lesson for $90--STAY AWAY FROM EUROPRO SHARK PRODUCTS!
