Pros: Great design, reasonable price. Cons: Not all stores that sell Evenflo nursers carry the Elite.
The Evenflo Elite nurser came highly recommended by a number of professionals including the instructors of our "Moving through Pregnancy" class, birth class and breast feeding class. New mothers who came to our birth class on alumni day also recommended...

Pros: Bottle is comfortable to hold, nipple has nice natural shape which is breastfeeding friendly. Cons: Ounce markings wash off, bottle leaks, bottles are a tad pricey.
When our baby refused to drink from her Avent bottles after 6 months of struggling to get her to take it, we tried the Evenflo Elite bottles. Right away we noticed that the nipple was shaped more like mom than Avent nipples. Our daughter must have...

I love this system
by hypnozia ,Jul 25 '05
Pros: Shape, softness of the nipples, wide mouth allows dry formula in easily. Cons: Very hard to find and expensive.
My two sons both liked the Evenflo Elite sytem. Unfortunately, I need some more and I can't find them anywhere. The Evenflo site lists locations, but the internet sites don't have or carry them. The only one I found was babyant.com and they are on back order.
I like the Elite system because of the wide nipple and bottles. The shape lets less air in. I nursed both my sons and they adapted well to bottle feeding with the Evenflo bottles. I used other kinds (Playtex, Gerber) but my husband and I both agree that our boys liked the Evenflo better. I will keep looking...

Perfect for infants!
by heston ,Jun 27 '05
Pros: Perfect nipple for an infant mouth. Reduced gas bubbles in two of our babies. Cons: Harder to find. More prone to leak. (Worth it anyway!)
I use the Evenflo Elite bottles for my little ones until they are about three months old, then I switch to my Avent system. My second child couldn't attatch to my Avent nipples, that 's when we discovered our Evenflos. Our third child was having problems with gas and we noticed that he wasn't attatched all the way to our Avent nipples, then we remembered our Evenflo ones. Yep. They did the trick again. They are a wide nipple the has enough give that it fits to their little mouths. True it does seem more prone to leak, but totally worth it for a few months.
