Pros: Adjustable height, transport chair only, sturdy base Cons: Bulky, but worth it
We found this chair for our daughter and it has proved it's worth in the three months we have had it. When visiting others, you can simply take the top half with you and leave the base at home. It's easy to clean and maintain. The fact that it is a...
Pros: Many different Functions. Not your average high chair. Cons: Bulky.
I received the Evnflo Steps to Grow High Chair as a shower gift. Since it was my first child I did not know what to look for or what not to look for in baby products. All I had put on my list for gifts hoping to receive was a high chair. I left the...
Pros: multiple uses, easy to clean Cons: seat is too large for infant as high chair, desk is not optimal
I love this high chair! My mom bought my sister one for her son (it was this ugly, pastel, modern art looking pattern on a periwinkle base) and she loved it; her son is now 7 years old and he loves it, too, he uses it daily as a desk. So, my mom bough ...
Pros: Stable, safe, comfortable, easy to use, easy to assemble Cons: huge & clunky, ugly, expensive, bare bones w/o many features
I bought my Evenflo Steps to Grow highchair from Netkidswear.com. I got it promptly and was thrilled to have no problem assembling the chair. The instruction are clear and the chair was easy to put together.
Pros: goes from high chair to toddler table and chair Cons: bulky; hard to get tray off; hard to move around
I received this chair as a gift. The idea behind this chair was good--reclined infant feeding seat, upright toddler feeding seat, take-apart toddler chair and table--but it really didn't pan out. It's all plastic, and the future table serves as the...
Pros: Large tray Cons: crevices in seat are hard to clean, bulky, tray hard to attach one handed
I bought this chair, at my mother's urging, when my son was only a couple of months old. She thought it would save money in the long run to have it turn into a table and chair.
In a positive light, it has a great tray. The tray is large with...
Pros: removeable seat padding makes for easy clean-up
Cons: big, bulky, and the tray broke almost immediately
My husband and I received this high chair as a baby shower gift and we were thrilled. We were hoping for a high chair that was multi functional, sharp looking, and sturdy and this looked like the perfect fit.
We tried out the infant seat for our...
have 2 and LOVE them!!!!!! by gckuchar ,Jul 19 '09
Pros: easy to clean, perfect for toddlers Cons: hard to find replacement parts
I have 2 of these High Chairs and they are great. I dont under stand where everyone is saying they are bulky b/c they are not. they have a smaller foot print than the high chair I just gave to my cuz for his baby. both my kids love these seats. they get to eat at the table w/ everyone else and then they get to sit and draw and play at the little table.
Pros: Very sturdy, easy to clean. Cons: When used as a desk, crayons can be eaten
We loved this high chair, and are getting ready to use it for baby number 2. We received a different high chair as a shower gift that ended up being recalled. We never felt it was sturdy anyway. We shopped around to find a very sturdy high chair. We have a large dog (80 pounds) who liked to be as close to falling food as possible, so we wanted something that could withstand being knocked and bumped around. This certainly fit that criteria! It didn't take up anymore room than our first high chair. It is easy to clean, and the pad removes easily. After struggling with the tray on our first high chair, I found this tray very easy to use. It has been used as a desk for the last 2 years. Only problem with the desk part is that there are a couple of opening big enough for crayons to be pushed into and they can't be retrieved.
Pros: Vinyl covered seat. Cons: Tray is awkward to remove, food gets trapped in grooves.
Difficult to move tray top in and out. Hard to clean and takes up a LOT of space. Never used it as a toddler desk either as we had better and more attractive furniture.
Pros: The top lifting off. Cons: UGLY, HUGE, the back is too straight and the chair pad all together.
We recieved our highchair as a gift. It had the best of intentions behind it. I can agree with everyone else that it is way too big! We live in nice sized town home but you have to squeeze past it. The clean up is not that bad if you don't mind removing the chair pad everytime your child eats. My son is ten months old and he is at the stage that he would like to feed himself. The food falls down in the sides. The pad will hardly stay on anyway. The one thing I do like about it is that I can take the top part of the high chair off and lug it around. Like on a nice day my son can have a snack on the porch. I would recommend a cheaper, simple high chair. If you really think your child needs a desk you can buy them one later!
