Pros: Inexpensive, although it appears to be cheaply made, has held up extremely well.
Cons: Replacement battery can sometimes cost as much as the lantern/battery combo.

Pros: Inexpensive, sturdy, battery lasts long, easy battery installation.
Cons: Heavy, button falls off, flat handle, not really industrial strength brightness.
