Cons: It's only sold at PetSmart

  • EverClean is better

Rated a Very Helpful Review by the Epinions community
    Jun 25, 2001
Pros: good odor control; cats liked it
Cons: more dust than EverClean; inferior clumping means clumps break and little urine clumps spread

Summary: When I saw Exquisi-cat in the pet store, it seemed pretty obvious to me that Exquisicat was trying to tap into the EverClean market. EverClean is a "premium" clumping cat litter--formulated to be very low dust, very solidly clumping, with a high degree ... read more

Pros: Excellent litter for you automatic litter box, great value
Cons: only available at PetsMart stores

  • My finicky cats love it!

Rated a Very Helpful Review by the Epinions community
    Nov 16, 2000
Pros: Good quality, Cleans easily, priced reasonably.
Cons: Not available in most grocery stores.

Summary: I originally chose Exquisi-Cat Scooping Cat Litter because the price was so reasonable. I have two very finicky cats that have refused to use their litter box in the past because, apparently, they did not like the litter I had chosen to buy. ... read more

    Nov 16, 2000
    Pros: scent, odor control, scoopability
    Cons: none

    Dec 22, 2012
Pros: Not bad for clumping or multi-cat household (I have 3).
Cons: Dust Dust and More Dust!  Terrible.

Summary: If you don't mind a cloud of dust everytime you scoop the poop, you are good to go on this litter.  I tried it when I got a 40 Lb. box with a 50% off coupon from PetSmart.  Not a Smart idea.  I'm still trying to dilute it w/Tidy Cat or any

Pros: Great clumping, price and clean up.
Cons: I can only find it at Petsmart

Summary: I have 4 cats and only use 1 litter box for all 4! They all love it! My house NEVER smells like urine or feces. When people pop over for a visit they can't believe that I have 4 cats in the house. Great clumping, nice smell and very easy to clean. I used

    Pros: Can't name pro now.
Cons: We used it all the time. 5 40lb can a month not anymore.

Summary: I believe your product has changed for the worse. I can't believe how much dust is in it now. It will fog up my entire room even when I scoop not to mention filling the litter boxes. I will not recommend it any cat

  • Did Exquisicat litter change?

    Pros: Unscented, relatively dust free.
Cons: Sticks to the litter boxes.

Summary: Did exquisicat change the litter?  I didn't have any problems with the litter, clumping, being dusty, absorbing odor or the cats using the boxes.  The last two boxes are clumping so hard and sticking to the boxes, making me scrape the

Cons: Last 4 (40#) bags have been horribly dusty.

Summary: I have a house full of cats and have bought ExquisiCat extra strength litter by the 40# bag for many years and have been very satisfied until recently. It had always lived up to it's claim of 99% Dust Free but now is so outrageously dusty that it creates

Pros: Good value for the price. Clumps well. Good odor control.
    Cons: Major dust problems.

Summary: I've been using this product for at least a year and my two cats seem to like it just fine. I buy the large box and am not too fond of the flimsy plastic bag within that contains the litter itself. The odor control is great. My main reason to dislike

  • Not great for multiple cats!

Rated Show by the Epinions community
    Jun 27, 2006
    Pros: Finely ground, like sand
Cons: Doesn't clump well, gummy mess in the bottom of the litter box.

Summary: I have 3 cats and it seems like no matter how much I clean, my house still smells like cat pee. Plus, the pee creates a GROSS gummy mess in the bottom of the box. I have to use 2 box liners, or the gummy stuff goes through! Yuck!
