Pros: It's like having perfect vision, without the risk of surgery! Cons: May take a while to get used to. Pretty expensive.
I used a coupon I printed off the 'net and went to Walmart to try these out. One free pair. At first, they were awesome. So awesome, in fact, I went back to Walmart and bought a 6 month supply! That was in the first two weeks of wearing them. By the ...

Pros: suppose to be better for your eyes Cons: I'm not having any luck with them
My Dr. just put me into these Ciba lenses about 2 weeks ago. Now over the two weeks I've had to take them out about every 2-3 days to clean them. Either they get so foggy that I can't see anymore or they start feeling like sandpaper.
I'm going...

Pros: Very comfortable, long lasting and they are easy to sleep in. Cons: None
I never wore contacts until i was a junior in high school. At first i hated wearing them but it made me see clearer than i could see before. I used to have to wake up and put my contacts in during the morning routine and then at night take them out and ...

Pros: initial insertion gives me 1-2 weeks of carefree, if less clear, use per month Cons: prone to drying out, get far dirtier than other lenses
Despite what one self-impressed reviewer said about it being important to never remove and clean these lenses, the manufacturer says: "The lenses may be prescribed for daily wear or for extended wear for up to 30 nights of continuous wear, with removal ...

Pros: Cheap Cons: Uncomfortable
These lenses from Cibavision are extended wear contact lenses. This means that they are supposed to be safe to wear overnight and for 30 days. But I highly recommend to clean them at least 2-3 times a week. In my case, I have to take them off every night...

Pros: Ability to wear during sleep
No need for daily cleaning
Comfortable Cons: Not able to wear for 30 days
Cost
I decided to try contact lens after "not wearing" glasses for many years. I say not wearing because I have always been able to see without glasses, but over the years my right eye vision had gotten worse. I am farsighted in on eye, and nearsighted in the ...

Pros: You can wear them at night and through the day.You can sleep in them. Cons: They are pricey, wake up with dry eyes in the morning.
Focus Night & Day soft contact lenses is the absolute best contacts I have ever tried. I have almost had them for a year. My eye doctor has tried to fit me with Acuvue 2 contacts and my eyes never got alone with them, my eye doctor blames the fact that ...

Pros: Extended wear, always feel fresh, no cleaning, little to no handling Cons: more expensive then ordinary lens, but you do not have to buy cleaning products anymore.
I began wearing glasses as a very small child. I was about four years old. I was often called four eyes and quickly learned to hide my glasses or break them so I wouldn't have to wear them any more. I started wearing contacts when I was 13. I have ...

Pros: can fall asleep with them sometimes Cons: bulky feeling, uncomfortable, makes eyes tear up
I have worn contacts for 8 years or so. Normally I wear bausch and lomb soflens 38's. They've always worked for me but recently my eye doctor suggested I try some other kinds since supposedly they're better for the eye and let in more oxygen. The two ...

Pros: Healthier Eyes, Long lasting Cons: expensive
Although they are a bit more expensive, Night and Day lenses are the best I have used. I had problems with other contacts rolling up on my eye - not so with the Night and Day lenses. I always remove my contacts before bed. They last a really long time. ...

Pros: None Cons: Impacts your health, time, and wallet negatively.
Our doctor prescribed these lenses for my daughter and told us that they were really good. He did not mention any side effects at all. My daughter wore these for 7 months and just 2 days ago her left eye started to itch and hurt. We had to make an ...

Pros: -easy to wear for long durations. Cons: -no colour tint
-hard to find when dropped.
I've been using these lenses for 4 years now, and they're the best brand I've used yet. They don't generally feel scratchy, and I don't see halos around lights as much as I have with other brands. The only thing I think they could do to make them ...

Wonderful lenses!
by mccartan ,Jul 22 '05
Pros: fast and easy! Cons: Need to be cleaned 1-2 times a month.
These are wonderful. I do not have bad eyesite in general, but I need clarification for distance, like on a school black board or the clock on the other side of the room. I love the fact I put them in and forget them! No more forgetting my glasses or getting headaches from the glasses not focusing properly!
My husband is extremely jealous. He cannot wear contacts because his eyes are dry, and his vision is much worse than mine.
I do not wear them every month, just months that I'm in class. Only thing I do not like about them is the price, but most contacts are expensive but the ability to have inexpensive sunglasses (I tend to leave things places and break things) off sets this.
They do need to come out to be cleaned once or twice in the month. I usually do this while in the shower, since I use Aquify, needing only to rub for 5 seconds and a soak for 5 minutes.

Only ones I use
by einapets55 ,Oct 24 '06
Pros: easy on sensitive eyes.
Cons: eyes adjust to them, so eventually, it's like any other contact lens.
I first tried these, when they first came out, as an experiment. I initially found them to be the best ever. I could sleep in them, I even used them than longer than 30 days (not recommended), without problem. However, I have found that over time, I have to take them out daily as my eyes have adjusted to them, I will wake up with red, dry eyes if i leave them in over night. I cannot stand to wear any other contacts now. My eyes got spoiled. This is the only contact that I can wear until I get the nerve and money to get laser.
