Pros: Great alternative to a triple, light weight, looks cool Cons: Need to anticipate shifts because of wider spread and lower front derailleur. Hard to find.

Pros: fun fun fun in the sun sun sun Cons: new things are for the rich.
The new elliptical chain rings cant com pair to round ring technology....they are made so cheaply that mine started rusting the first time they got wet. And I'm not sure that there is any improvement in my cranking.
They are a little easier to use but good cranking technique is much more important.
