Farberware Millennium Non-Stick : This may be the last cookware I'll ever buy!

by laura10801 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Dec 18 '00
Pros: Durable, versatile
Cons: Handles get very hot
I chose Farberware Millenium because Consumer Reports rated them as superior. I really didn't consider others. I knew I wanted nonstick and I wanted something that would last for many years. I have seen very few pots and pans that meet both of these...

Warranty is Meaningless - Customer Service Non-Existent

by o626 , Mar 21 '06
Pros: What they build well, lasts a long time.
Cons: Non-stick surface durability, poor warranty/customer service, lid handles will burn you.
We've used this set of Millennium cookware for about 13 years. The pots and pans are stainless steel, with a stainless base disc for even heat transfer and non-stick interior coating. We were sold on the product due to the 20 year warranty. The basic ...

Pros: These pans are built to last!
Cons: the price is steep
When my husband I moved into our first apartment, we were so excited about it, we flew out on a shopping spree. Brands meant nothing to us as here we are, coming out of the motel we lived in, and now we had this huge apartment! So off to the Family...

Farberware Millennium Cookware

by nikki1976 , Jul 18 '00
Pros: Very durable, easy to clean, great looking!
Cons: Finish may dull in the dishwasher
After moving into a new home this month, I decided to add to my cookware collection, so I can entertain company more often. Or maybe because my new kitchen has one of those cool cupboards with the pull out drawers for pots 'n pans? Anyhow, I needed more...

love my farberware

by judypudyrudy , May 02 '00
Pros: durability
Cons: none really
.I was tired of pots and pans where the handles came off and the non-stick surfaces also came off. I love the way Farberware cookware evenly distributes the heat on the cooking surface.

There is little need for cooking oil on the fry...

I always wanted nonstick pans that can

by Mommy4life , Jan 26 '00
Pros: from stove top to oven
Cons: handles do not stay cool
I have wanted nonstick pans that can go in the oven for the longest time, there are so many recipes I want to try that call for placing the pan from stove top to oven, so when I was looking for a new set of nonstick cookware I went right to the...

Nonstick? So that's what they call it...

by ametcalfe , Apr 03 '00
Pros: Relatively Inexpensive.
Cons: poor non-stick surface
The 8 piece set was given as a gift last year, and has survived terribly.

I have one complaint. The non-stick surface has completely deteriorated. Don't go accusing me of abusing the teflon, either. These pans have never seen metal...

Farberware stands by their product

by sgian , Jan 14 '00
Pros: It really doesn't stick! Hollow handle keeps it cool
Cons: It's heavy to lift
I got my Farberware non-stick skillet as a gift, and used it for about two years--then it developed scratches in the non-stick surface. I was pleased that when I returned it (by mail) for replacement, they not only replaced it for free, but UPGRADED it...

The last cookware I will ever own

by Gmann11681 , Jan 09 '00
Pros: Very durable and easy to work with
Cons: Haven't found any yet
My wife and I received our cookware as a wedding gift from my uncle. I already had some cookware so at first we didn't use it. The first time I used it I was hooked. The feel of the pans were great. I was even able to flip an egg for the first time....

This WOK wins over all!

by davea888 , Jan 21 '00
Pros: Light weight and performance
Cons: None
I agree with the opinion of PWEISENBERG 100% and his complete description of this product line. I have a very busy kitchen (we do alot of creative cooking), and don't like to waste time preparing, cleaning, taking care of the "tools"...

Great For Cooking!

by happy40 , Apr 20 '01
Pros: Does not stick
Cons: Expensive
Faberware stainless steel cookware is the market leader in kitchen cookware for a couple of primary reasons. First off, food never sticks to these pots. You can use them repeatedly and never does your food ever not come off the pots at the end. They ar...

Hot Lids

by ebronson , Dec 09 '99
Pros: Price
Cons: Lids get hot
We selected this set on our wedding registry mainly due to the competitive pricing. It is very convenient that the lids fit several different pots and pans, however, the "cap" on the top of the lid gets hot quickly and cannot be handled....

Love Cooking in Farberware

by mongillo , Dec 18 '99
Pros: easy cleanup, really non-stick
Cons: Can't think of any
My husband had a set of farberware non-stick stainless when I met him. He ranted and raved about how great it was. I was "immune" to the wonders of "non-stick" cookware from many past experiences with other brands. After I used it...
