Pros: Price, local availability, timer & thermostat, minimal if any condensate to drain out
Cons: Poor Energy Efficiency Rating (7.5), poor reliability, Service almost impossible to obtain. Noisy.

Pros: powerful air conditioner/air cleaner
Cons: water pump sound
This portable air worked great and lasted me almost 12 years with no problem. It was only recently i got rid of it because it was very old and i want a newer model.
I wish fedders would manufacture this model again. It was nice looking and a powerful air conditioner.
