Within seconds of putting this on my monitor, I took it off and repackaged it for return. It actually made the glare on my screen worse. Without the "filter", the glare is annoying, but I can still read the text on the screen. With the "filter", the glare is so bad I can't see anything on the monitor. I double checked to make sure it was facing the right way, and even reversed it to see if it mas maybe mislabeled. It turns out the only part mislabeled is the part that reads "Glare Filter".
