Fender& Frontman& 15r Combo Guitar Amplifier

Pros: Lots of sound, tried-and-true Fender clean, nice reverb

Pros: Surprisingly "big" sounding; useful tone controls
Cons: Step backward distortion-wise from the old Bullet Reverb

This amp replaced the Bullet Reverb model. It seems to be the same design, BUT - the tone controls sound like they narrowed the Q a bit, and the preamp distortion doesn't sound as responsive.

Yet, it's still a neat amp. I really like it...

I recently purchased a Fender Frontman 15R and was mostly impressed with its strong clean tone and its relatively smooth distortion compared to other comparable solid state practice amps. This small amp really will get loud. I have played with a drummer and we were both suprised how much sound the Frontman puts out.
