Pros: great game. easy to use system. lots of fun. good character development. Cons: characters are too stuck in their pre-defined roles. changed console layout. the online strategy stinks.
I got this game for christmas, and was done with it by mid february. granted that was 74 hours of game play. it is overall a wonderful game, and i highly recommend it. what i don't recomend is buying the strategy guide. it is bad and all the usefull...

Pros: Graphics, storyline. Cons: addictive
This game had me planted in front of my TV until 3am the first day/night I played. The story was great, and the graphics even better. I don't see how they can surpass this work of art for final fantasy 10. The battles and equip features were easy to...

Pros: Graphis, Storyline, Characters, Production Values Cons: Sounds a little worse then past in the series
Attracted by the big productions values and the diverse and lush histotry of the Final Fantasy series, I went to the local mall and picked up FF IX. After hours of gameplay I am happy to say the FF fans and gamers in general will not be diapointed....

Pros: Classic Final Fantasy Elements, Cool Skill/Magic System, Fun Battle System, Nice Balanced Difficulty Cons: Some Dull Environments
Ever since the series' premiere on the Playstation console, Final Fantasy has become a huge icon of mainstream video games. With the series' rise of popularity in regions outside of Japan it seemed that Squaresoft began to garner to other markets by ...

Pros: Graphics, Story, Gameplay, and the ending is great. Cons: Could use some more musical variety
As the constant skeptic when someone says "Best Game Ever" like the Comic Book Guy on the Simpsons, I was extremely doubtful that any game would be able to topple my personal favorite since 1997 Final Fantasy VII. Why should I, it had maintained its...

Pros: Engaging Storyline, Tons of Weapons and Spells, Great Ending, Cool Characters Cons: Game Drags in Certain Areas, Final Bosses are Tough
Since the days of Dragon Warrior for the Nintendo Entertainment system, I have long been a huge fan of role playing games. I recently pulled out my old copy of Final Fantasy IX because I was bored and wanted something different to play. Even though I ...

Pros: Great cinemas, challenging gameplay Cons: None
If you check my profile you will see that Final Fantasy VIII was one of my favourite games ever, and it still is. Unlike some players I enjoyed the challenge of the junction system versus the battle system used in its predecessors.
Well, now...

Pros: Return to Fantasy, beautiful characters, great story Cons: Load times can be annoying with random battles
Dragons, flying ships, the days when magic was real and gritty technology was only found in nightmares. Final Fantasy 9 returns you to those days, which FF7 and 8 sadly neglected, feeling more like Final Steampunk then Final Fantasy. With stirring...

Pros: Classic, easier gameplay; Rounder characters; A valiant final effort. Cons: Predictable story; Lousy Trance system.
Final Fantasy 9 changes the direction of the series by tapping its roots.
Final Fantasy 9
AT A GLANCE
Graphics = 4.0
Less proportional character models. More color. Better texture...

Pros: A magnificent story done by the best -- Squaresoft. And of course, Princess Garnet. Cons: The card game isn't as good as FF8's version.
Once again, it's your fantasy. A world given to you by the masters of RPGs. One you can't put down. One you can't let go of. You must buy this game now because it's worth it in so many ways!
The name of the game is Final Fantasy IX:...

Pros: Lead character has a tail, rename your characters, princess is hot, shortened summon spells, cute little black mage Cons: Big knight is stupid and irritating, the paradox that is Final Fantasy (How is it final with 9 of them?), the villain (dude looks like a lady), unbalanced character stats unless you have tons of free time... but you're playing an RPG so you must.
Final Fantasy IX. Nine times have a fantasy set out, and even though it's final there always seems to be another one. Why... Je ne sais pas, but with quality like this I won't really complain.
I think the coolest thing about this...

Pros: Sweet graphics, sweet cast, sweet abilities system Cons: None
Final Fantasy 9, is probably the best Final Fantasy on the playstation!! When I played Final Fantasy VIII, I was pretty disappointed in it. The things that I thought should've been in the game just... wasn't! But now, with Final Fantasy IX, I feel so...

Pros: Stunning 3D cinemas and graphics, great format, excellent story-line, full of suspense and action Cons: Not all of the characters are human, not realistic enough
Give it up for Square Soft for producing another great Final Fantasy game. This time they decided to go back in the Medieval times. It was very surprising to me.
Since I'm a FF fan myself, I just had to give FF IX a whirl. Let's...

Pros: Perfect graphics, involving story, nostalgic, what FFs are known to be. Cons: Sound not up to Square's own established par, gameplay is a bit too formulated.
THE STORY:
The Queen of Alexandria, Brahne, has begun terrorizing neighboring kingdoms with horrible magic. Knights, bandits, and magicians team together in resistance, only to be pulled into a much larger, more sinister plot headed by the...
