Pros: Sturdy fun walker Cons: May not be suitable for babies just starting to cruise.
My baby girl just recently turned one. Now this is a girl who will spend hours in her big brother’s room playing with all his toys. Because she has so many toys to play with, very few toys become her favorites. As a result, I wanted to get her just ...
Pros: Helps aid baby in learning to walk, fun sounds and activities Cons: Doesn't always steer very well, can sometimes tip over
The Fisher Price Baby Playzone Stride-to-Ride Walker is another toy which will be residing in storage after Christmas and since Christmas is only a couple of weeks away, I thought I better review it because it might be quite a while before it's brought ...
Pros: Two volume settings, adorable, fun Cons: Moves very fast, no turning capacity, will flip forward
Babies all develop at different rates, and most are either up on their knees, pulling up to everything, and cruising around the coffee table at 9-10 months, if not sooner. Our Tyler is no different. We came to the decision to look for a good push ...
Pros: Colorful, Power switch Cons: hard to walk around and into
Not too long ago we decided that my daughter needed new toys and one of the things we bought her was the The Fisher Price Stride to Ride Walker. This “thing” looked like would be something she would enjoy. She is at the age where she loves to...
Pros: Multi-functioning, develops motor skills, cute Cons: Stupid music and flashing lights, can flip over
When my daughter began pulling up into a standing position at around 5 months old, we began to look for a walker-style toy to encourage her efforts. The Fisher-Price Playzone Stride-to-Ride Walker seemed to be a good choice since it could also double as ...
Pros: Great toy for babies that want to get around. Cons: You MUST watch your child when using this toy.
My son got this toy for Christmas from his grandparents, by our request. I saw this toy in a Fisher-Price flyer and I thought it would be perfect for our son.
Why did I think it would be a good toy for my son? My son, even though he was only...
Pros: a walker, a ride on toy, and basketball game all in one. Cons: balls come out in a hard to get to place and hard to get behind.
It's hard to believe that my baby girl is one, but she is. We just celebrated her first birthday last Friday (April 11th) and for that first birthday we bought her the Fisher Price Stride to Ride Walker. My little girl isn't walking yet so we figured...
Pros: Colorful, durable Cons: Unstable, may be dangerous for some children
I bought this walker about 5 months ago because my daughter wasn't walking. I chose this one because it had all sort of features and converted to a ride toy. The basics: The Stride to Ride walker has multiple purposes- giving the child the option of ...
Pros: Cute, colorful, music and "basket" amuse my son Cons: flips easily, hard to convert from walking toy to riding toy
My son received the Fisher Price Stride to Ride Walker as a Christmas gift. I was thrilled! It looked like a great toy and my son took to it right away. It is made of durable plastic in primary colors like blue, yellow, and red and has a silly smiley...
Pros: Versatile. The ball game is lots of fun. Cons: Music is annoying and it's not the best ride on toy around.
This walker was purchased for our twins’ first birthday. I like that it was versatile. It can be used as a walker and then when the child masters walking you can push the legs together to form a seat for a ride on toy. Also it has a basketball game ...
Pros: Colorful, cute music Cons: Bad design all around
Being quite practical and frugal when I saw this toy that doubled as a push cart and scooter I was thrilled. Pay once and get twice the use out of it. Unfortunately that is not what happened and we ended up buying another pushcart. The walker has a ...
Pros: Very Cute, bright colors, lively music Cons: baby needs a little practice (as with any walker)
My daughter loves it! Of coarse it takes a little practice, it does have wheels- and therefore, WILL roll! As with any activity toy, you will need to supervise your little one. Once your little one has the hang of it, they will love it. Don't bother...
Cute and Fun Learn to Walk Toy by kailey210 ,Feb 25 '05
Pros: cute original design Cons: moves too fast when beginning to walk
We bought this so that he would have something that would entertain our son and help him to walk. We thought that the design was pretty cool and different from your ordinary car push along toy. This toy works in two different ways. You can push a button to separate the sides and your child can then push it to walk along with it or you can keep the sides together and use it as a seat as a push along toy. There are two cute rhythms that this toy plays. There is a little basketball net in the front and it comes with a couple of balls. It was a little hard for my son to start walking with. It took off too fast and he would fall. Once he got the hang of it and developed a bit of balance he was able to use it as a walking toy. He never did use it as a sit down push along toy. He just liked to sit on it.
GOOD CONCEPT TERRIBLE EXECUTION by hockii ,Nov 24 '04
Pros: coverts to ride on Cons: moves too quickly and easily topples the child
I am a child development specialist who was shopping for a walker for my 11 month old grandson. I though this was a clever multi function walker and I had always respected Fischer Price products-WRONG!!!!! it rolls WAY TOO FAST to keep a starter walker from toppling right on their face. It can actually be quite dangerous as it just goes flying with a slight touch!!!
