Pros: Easy to set up and use, nice features Cons: Storage
My 3 1/2 year old son became fascinated with the Little People. He got a 30 minute video from somewhere and once he turned about 3 took an interest in watching it - over and over. He started to ask about the characters, and notice the ...
Pros: Cute design, fun sounds, sturdy construction, on/off switch, closes for easier storage Cons: Sounds can be irritating, stickers can come off easily, parents and baby share a room
A few months after my daughter turned one my obsession with Little People began. I just think they are the cutest toys and I love collecting the different sets. They are a far cry from the Little People of my childhood but they still foster the same type ...
Pros: Very Durable, Sparks your children's Imagination Cons: The size is the only Con I had. A litte large even when folded up.
Being a home daycare provider I am always on the look out for durable, fun and educational toys I think may spark the interest of my children in my care. One night while doing paperwork I saw a commercial for this product and thought it might be a great ...
Pros: Good quality, nice price Cons: Only one bedroom, sounds can get annoying after hearing them continuously
I just purchased this toy for my 3 and 1/2 year old daughter and she can't put it down! From the moment I took it out of the box, she was giggling and experimenting with all the fun sounds it has to offer. This set comes with a ready-made-family, so ...
Pros: Learning skill and sounds. Durable plastic. My toddler loves this house. Cons: weird baby in a basket. Stickers can be peeled off by child.
I got the Fisher-Price Little People Sweet Sounds Home when my mom taught my 1 1/2 year old how to put her little critters to bed. She would cover her little toy with a wash cloth and stick him into a bed and say night night. Shocked how easy it was ...

Pros: Helps children not only interact with each other well, but also play alone well. Cons: Not enough pieces for the cost.
As a mom with ten children and now 4 young children under the age 8 this toy has been one of our best buys and most used toys. I and my children absolutely LOVE it! As a homeschool mom I love the creativity that it brings about, and interactions my ...

Little People Sweet Sounds Home by theretersx6 ,May 02 '05
Pros: It folds up and everything stores inside nicely! It has ALOT of sounds. Cons: A more neutral color would be nice!
My 2 year old son LOVES this house. He loves all the sounds and taking care of the baby! It has microwave sounds, bathroom sounds, washing machine sounds, baby sounds, and even typing sounds! It's so much better than the last version of this house! More sounds means more fun!!
This is such a fun house. by kennasmom21 ,Jan 14 '04
Pros: Sounds, Pretend play, on off switch, fold in, storage inside when folded. Cons: Babies could be more real and be able to move.
My daughter has learned to use her imagination with this house. She pretends that there is a family and they all live, sleep, eat and play there. It's so cute. She received this as a Christmas gift. The sounds are cute and have an on and off switch (which for parents is great). I love how it can fold up and store some of the stuff. Sometimes all the pieces get all over but thats toys for you. Babies could be more real and be able to move.
Pros: Great value for money; encourages imaginative play; batteries last extremely long time. Cons: Would be nice to have another door (backdoor) as this is a popular feature.
My daughter received this when she was 9 mths old and has played with it almost daily ever since (she is 22 mths old now). She loves the sounds and putting the people in the seats. She also loves the front door - the people say 'hi' and go in the house and they say 'bye bye' and go outdoors again. The house is wonderful for imaginative play and works great with the other Fisher Price Play Sets. The Little People Sweet Sounds Home frequently goes on sale (as do the other Fisher Price Toys), so I would recommend waiting for sales (Toys R Us and Zellers flyers). These are toys that last forever and are easy to clean when crayon gets on them, etc.
Pros: Cute, durable, educational, great 1st dollhouse Cons: Where's mom and dad's bedroom?
I bought this for my daughter's 1st birthday -- she had no interest in it at that time. Tried again at age 2 -- now she plays with it. House is very cute; folds up nicely and the people and furniture USUALLY stay inside. I don't know that "sweet" sounds is the right term -- toilet flushing, washing machine running, telephone, computer -- but popping corn and laughing kids are sweet!
This house is a good learning tool for my daughter -- she puts the people in the bed, on the toilet, in the bathtub, etc....has the mom and dad push the baby in the carraige....so yes, valuable on those aspects. It does make a nice first dollhouse, too.
I found the stickers easy to put on and they have not been peeled off by my child ( yet ).
Oddly enough, the house has one bedroom, which seems to be a baby's room.....but there is a bed that comes with the house. Guess everyone sleeps together? Or mom and dad sleep on the roof :)
All in all, very cute, good toy for the 2 year old range in my opinion.
fisher-price little people sweet sounds dollhouse by mrsguirand ,Jan 09 '07
Pros: cute, easy to set up or clean Cons: it only came with 3 sounds, all stickers are self applied
cute, easy to assemble. I did not like having to put all the stickers in place myself as I found this tedious and my daughter wanted to play with them instead of attach them to the home. I forewarn anyone wanting to buy this because of all the great sounds you read about... I bought mine direct from Fisher-Price in December 2006 and it only came with 3 sounds (cat meow, lullaby song, and phone ring)the older model #B1831 has all the extra sounds in each room, the newer model #J9000 has only the 3 sounds... you will see this number on the bottom of the box or on the bottom of the dollhouse itself.
