Pros: Encourages developmental play and reactions, engaging and entertaining for baby, fun sounds Cons: No volume control, no on/off switch, heavy.
I know Oscar is a Grouch, but is he also a crack head? You have to listen carefully, for when Oscar says "I Love Trash", your ears might deceive you! When I first brought the Fisher Price Sesame Street Activity Atom home, I had to convince my ...
Pros: it's cute and colorful, and sort of resembles an actual atom Cons: too heavy, too intricate, too loud
Bless my parents and my sister; they keep trying to make sure that Bug doesn't just get stuck with hand-me-down toys from his older brother and sister. The problem is, however, that Beanie and Buster seem to have cornered the market on toys at some ...
Pros: Colorful, sounds and lights, lots to do, not annoying, good for motor skills. Cons: No on/off or volume control, can't lock toy in base, Squeaker is hard to press.
My son received this as a gift when he turned one and although he does get some use out of it, I was disappointed that he did not have it earlier. It seems like it would be a great toy for 6 months and up and there really are not a lot of good ones out ...
Pros: Engaging, cute toy that has lots of activities for baby! Cons: Does not have an off switch or means to lock atom into base.
This is a really neat little toy for babies that I stumbled onto because I felt guilty that we hadn't yet bought anything for our 2nd son for his first Christmas since he had so many of his big brother's toys. I chose it because it was something he ...
Pros: Stimulating and engaging toy. Cons: No volume control.
My mom bought this toy for our 6-month old son to have at her house. He is absolutely fascinated with it! If it was sitting in the corner, he would crane his neck and wriggle around on our laps to look at it until we would finally get it for him.
He likes the flashing lights and being able to spin it around. It plays quirky music and funny little phrases like, "Cowabunga" and "I love trash!". There are lots of textures to play with and features to touch and explore. It's a visual feast of colors and lights.
The one thing missing, in my opinion, is an off switch or a volume control. The noises aren't super annoying, but it would be nice to have the option to lower the volume like on some of his other toys. All in all, it's a great toy and his favorite. I find myself wishing we had it here at home and not just at grandma's house
